I think he clears. The team clearly feels that between Edstrom, Rempe and Othmann they are covered for right now. That doesn't even include Belzile and Berard

Imo Drury did this perfectly. He kept two vets on the roster for as long as he needed to get some younger players some time in the AHL, we complain about them on the roster at times but meanwhile the kids were cooking in Hartford.
I'm doubtful he gets claimed so he's a piece going back to help more kids in Hartford

Our biggest problem now is that secondary scoring has become our only scoring and the pp is flat.
No need to reinvent the wheel.

Pitlick was the most vanilla guy on the team. Vesey carries that line, Goodrow for his warts is atleast capable at the dot and on the pk.

Goodrow showing a pulse lately. We'll see where that goes and if more changes can get more out of him. Not like we can get rid of him. Both edstrom and rempe were considered options and edstrom made the cut it looks like. Did enough good things to get the seal of approval from Laviolette.

For once we're seeing old vets get demoted for younger legs. This Drury would have waived glass.

Yeah this is why he was kept along with the price tag. My pie in the sky hope is that they add another forward along the way who can kill penalties and turn Goodrow into the 13th but I know thats a nearly impossible ask.

I am a bit surprised that Pitlick was waived though. I guess they don't fear going with 12 forwards.

I don't know how to feel about Middlestedt for Kakko. I don't "hate" it. I don't "love" it. That probably means it's somewhat fair...

They are not trading Tuch lol. At least not for cheap. I'm talking a hell of a lot more than what we are talking about for Zegras. The guy has 2 more years at less than 5mil, he can play center and scored 36 goals and 79 points last year. Figure out the value in that (it's a lot).

Yeah sucks because the guy worked his butt off from day 1 but just isn't that good. Still think he's better than Leschysn lol

Pitlick also doesn't need to go to the minors right away. They can keep him around and just send him down at a later date.

There may not be many around here that remember the Todd White once a month waive.

It would allow him to stay as the 13th for now and could send him down instead of someone like Brodzinski or forcing Cuylle or Edstrom down as a paper transaction.

Interesting that "stats" say Rangers are in the top 10 in hits -- yet I can count on one hand any that were "memorable", game changing or even noticeable.

Some Sabres fans would say Kakko wouldn't even be the 3rd or 4th best right winger on their team right now (except for Okposo). But that team needs some kind of a shake up. They are pacing to be worse than last year and another non playoff season.

Why do I dread the thought of putting Zib with Panarin and Laf?
