For me, the comparable was always Jiri Hudler, who returned a 2nd and 4th at the deadline when he was traded. We got a 2nd and a 3rd. That's a solid return. But the Rangers fanbase is so in love with Zuccarello, that they would be disappointed with any return

There are still so many serviceable names out there that you can get really cheap. Take someone like Sekera. Could definitely have 2-3 strong years left. I’ve never been his biggest fan, but he is a solid D. Can you get him for 2-3m?

Depth and internal competition is so important. If you can ice 4 lines and 3 D pairings that can contribute every night. If you have the depth that allows you to not carry players who doesn’t contribute or is trying to learn the game and what not.
