I do. I don't think we were every really in on Panarin. I mean, yes, we inquired. Yes were going to make an offer. But I don't think we were ever a serious contender. Make an offer that doesn't break the bank. If he accepts, great. If not, oh well.

He's going to end up in Florida.

They have the tax advantage and the space.

I don't see him signing with the Devils as they're a **** franchise. Isles and FLA both have an advantage in the sense that they can offer an opportunity for a packaged deal with the 2 of them. I can see both NJ and NYI coming in with the highest bids but still falling short.

I'm not even a fan of signing this guy at 11 million. 12 would be insane.

In a lot of the interviews around when they hired Q, he mentioned in a few of them how much the owner wants to spend right now. Their whole situation right now feels like they really want to spend the money to build a team to get people interested and keep them interested

1). This has already been discussed. 2). If Panarin’s price Is $12 million per, I doubt highly the Rangers and Panarin are getting close on anything right now.
