Kakko and Panarin can work a little better together with Trocheck or Chytil as the center. I feel like Panarin and Trocheck do have decent chemistry together but this whole team has been snakebitten. There was a span of like three or four games where Trocheck hit 6 posts. I'd definitely be interested to see Kakko on that line with Trocheck or Chytil. Trocheck is a good forechecker and gets to the front of the net while Chytil is a bit more of a shooter which wingers like Panarin and Kakko really need.

You want players like Lindgren in your lockerroom as examples of commitment and sacrifice.

But I agree with the above. Our performance last postseason wasn’t worth the price for our deadline additions.
I was all for trading Lindgren - at some point, not immediately- but he’s one of the few guys with a pulse. Still, just for cap management it might need to happen.

I wouldn't play Krav either. He bailed on the team twice, clearly didn't work out all summer, can't stay healthy and when he has gotten into a game, the few times he made it the whole 60, he was a complete non factor.

Gallant is probably telling Drury to get him a real f***ing winger. Reaves is gone now. Attach Blais to whoever you get and you can't get someone worth it. I still like Vatrano for this team and Garland would be a great add. Their term is not a detriment, it's a benefit, so I don't want to hear that argument anymore. I see no cap crunch for this team at all.

Garland strikes me as a guy who could spark this team with his style of play.

Sucking on a willy to draft Fantilli

Lets put it out there into the ethos. We just obviously need another lottery pick. 3rd time's the charm.

Fantilli is the embodiment of modern day NHL. Size, skill and speed.

Today’s Media Availability. Jacob (They shoot horses, don’t they?) Trouba, K’Andre (Future Lady Bing candidate ) and Coach (I can’t spell Kravtsov) Gerard Gallant:

Ultimately, though, Gallant will be judged based on whether the team can find its identity and live up to expectations that stem from last season's trip to the Eastern Conference Final. Multiple players have said the frequent lineup changes make it difficult to build momentum, with one player telling lohud.com, part of the USA TODAY Network, "I understand we need to change something, but I think when we start playing like we want, then it'll be easier for everyone if we can stay with the same lines."

Anonymous quote season! Somehow my first guess was still Strome

I don't know. It seemed pretty unanimous that the room sees Trouba as the leader. They just went to the ECF. People act like that wasn't the same team with the same personalities.

I would have thrown Draisaitl into the East River, but that's just me.

Our bottom 6 isnt the issue.

Strome was hurt ffs and no Trochek hasnt been better in any facet of the game, people talk about Troubas contract, this one is gonna stink real bad. All the stuff people picked at Strome about is still happening with Trochek.

Faceoffs? Yes, not even close.
Hits? Yes, not even close
Points? Yes
CF% Yes, not even close
+/-? Yes
Shots? Yes, not even close

What stats are you looking at, exactly?

It's easy to say "we should have done something" at your keyboard.

In the real world, with the real standings, and the real money, we're now losing with 2 minutes left. Bad time to take a penalty.

If Trouba took a penalty there, the same people who hate Trouba no matter what would be getting him for that.

It was annoying, but at the same time, is it that big of a deal?

People are going to be acting like Trouba shot the president for the next six months.

Reavo would've jumped over the bench and chased him down 100%
I've never seen such a disrespectful thing after a goal before with zero retaliation
Yeah, because Ryan Reaves has ever done that.

That's an automatic 10-game suspension. Reaves has been suspended for 6 games in his entire career.

You've created a version of Reaves in your mind.

Subban spit at us after a goal in 2012 which you're not old enough to remember. We ignored it, and proceeded to win eight playoff series in four years including against his team.
