Rangers management set up one guy to be the go to offensive player.... again...

And all bozos yell and scream at him for not scoring in the playoffs. ..

When the opposition focuses on shutting down that one player...

The same way our defense shuts down other top players. ..

Let's trade him for a first and grow our own in 5yrs...

When Lindquist retires....

What?

Has Nash hit such a low point that he was be considered a "salary dump". This guy never once impressed me from the day he threw on a rangers sweater.

He's a lazy hack who has no place on this team.

yeah, it took Staal & Richards a bunch of time to recover from their concussions, wonder if Nash is being effected....not sure, probably not, but its at least worth a consideration....

I can't see how it didn't/isn't affecting him. He regularly had over a hit per game before this season, then has 11 this season. Can that just be a coincidence?

I don't know why people complain about Nash's post game comments at times. These players are taught to not say anything inflammatory, they're basically just trying to say the right things and get the interviews over as quickly as possible.

It's very rare you get honesty and real emotion. The closest you get is Lundqvist after a game like last night.

These guys have been playing in front of large crowds since they were 14 or 15. If they don't have thick skin by now then they have no business playing pro sports.

You don't want someone to tell you that you aren't doing well at your job?

Tough ****. Life sucks and is hard when it doesn't.

Everybody is responsible for their own actions.

Sorry but I don't feel sorry for guys who voluntarily sign 50 million dollar contracts. You want a quiet life in anonymity? Become a logger in Minnesota.

A hockey game is like a movie or a concert -- entertainment. If you aren't entertained, what are you supposed to do? Make believe you were entertained?

Nash isn't entertaining. If he didn't realize it, he now knows for certain.

i am praying to god that he does not score at all, and Sather makes a knee jerk reaction and ships him off for 2 replacement players while we retain 2M in Salary.

To piggy back on this.

You - Nash, Richards, MSL - wanted to play for the Rangers.

You wanted to be here. Nash and MSL you hand-cuffed Howson and Yzerman to dealing with JUST the New York Rangers and now that you are hear, ******** the bed, you are upset that you are getting booed?

You think we should feel honored that you have been kind enough to grace us with your presence that you do not have to perform whne the perfomance's count?

Richards, taking less to come to NY does not get you a pass. Not when no one else matched the up front money the Rangers agreed to pay you.

You want NY, you get NY, warts and all.

Very well said... I'm not one to boo my teams, but I felt that fans had every right to let Nash and MSL hear it on Wednesday. While MSL's play certainly indicated his head/heart were elsewhere, the illness/passing of his mother certainly explains a lot (don't ask me what Nash's excuse is...)

Nash really lacks a competitive fire, I think. Its not really something that can be taught and, judging by his reaction to the booing, I dont think its something that AV will be demanding.

Nash probably dropped a lollipop on the locker room floor after game 3 of the first round. Would explain a lot.
