I would hope they wouldn't try to make either team play 3 games in 3 nights. That would be awful!
The 14th would be best for both clubs, but I could see the 9th as an option.

So technically Columbus can pull McEllhinney and put Bobrovsky in net right? Where as Dallas didn't have Lehtonen as a backup.
I don't think you're allowed to play 3 games in 3 nights. NHLPA and all that.
Cherepanov's death comes to mind.

Just a year ago the Falcons game was postponed cause Wade McLeod had a seizure on the ice.
No, I didn't imply that Jody did anything wrong and I'm glad he was able to be of help in a difficult situation; however, his inexperience in broadcasting prevented him from reporting what was happening to his audience. The difference in such experience was clear when Metzold took over, he not only conveyed the gravity of the occasion, but was able to impart more info. I'm not condemning Jody, in any way, just commenting on the difficulty he faced as a rookie in a very tough spot. Bill, on the other hand...
It will be interesting to see what the protocol will be for the resuming of this game.

Per Dr. Salazar, Peverley was aware of where he was when became conscious and wanted to get back in to the game.
That may be true, but there were also many unsafe things called out about that arena that do not happen in NHL arenas. It's not the time or place for that discussion now but that arena was not up to safety standards here in the NHL.
The NHL will be setting a precedent here.... They better get it right because what they decide will be used in the future...
Sounds like they will go with a whole new 60 minute game, just with us leading 1-0. If that were the case, each team could change their lineups I believe.

In a way it reminds me of the situation in Nationwide Arena when the fan was killed by a stray puck, the NHL was bold and added nets.... There were no nets in Sochi...
Game was postponed in 2005 when Jiri Fischer went into cardiac arrest during a game. I don't know what they did when it was re-played/continued, but there is a precedent.
