One thing is clear from the way our broadcast team is handling this situation, Rimer, say what you want about him, is the only pro involved. Jody is a rookie and really unprepared to cover something like this and Davidge just doesn't know what to say or when to shut up.

Edit: forgot about Metzold, he's a capable reporter, too.

Not sure how anyone prepares to cover something like this, but didn't think Jody did anything wrong.

It is the right decision, and we were only 7 minutes in. Game wasn't over, but the jackets were playing great. Right call nonetheless.

Also, with the huge delay, game would have ended later which meant Columbus flying back home later and arriving late. Now they can fly sooner and rest up for tomorrow's big game.

Its definitely the right call, but it also does hurt the Jackets to have to squeeze in another game, likely right before the playoffs. They should start with the lead, 1-0 6 minutes in.

They had to do what they had to do. Only way it hurts us is we may not get to go up against Tim Thomas next time. We still have our 1-0 lead i would assume.

You've got to think this is career ending. If he was held out for a game because of it and then it happens, you have to consider it. However if this happened in normal everyday life, the odds of having some medical personnel available are very slim
