Omg. Benning is nothing if not blunt and honest. He wasn't playing both sides. He truly believed he improved the team a great deal. He didn't. Being in contention for a top 5 pick was never in the cards. Ever. He constructed a team with no depth, that wasn't good when healthy and has paid the price. so you have no idea why we would have different expectations for a guy who got 30 last year, and is on pace for 20, then a guy making more than Hansen, who has been terrible in his "role"
