Why get better when the #1 pick is the goal?
Double. Shift. The. Sedins.
At least that's what a good coach would do. Will take the loss happily as a sign to management that chasing the playoffs is a stupid proposition.
So you're actually going to ask why cap space is important if you have an opportunity to improve the team? Why get better when the #1 pick is the goal?
Hey! Just came in to say that it's awesome to see you guys brought back the Halloween jerseys tonight! Always wanted to see the Sedins wearing those. It would have been even better if you could have painted the flying skate over Free Willy for the one evening too! Thx!
We will have a ton of cap space this summer. We will lose almost 10 mil and no one due for a big raise. Vey, Etem and Baertschi should collectively come in under 4 mil.
How has Dorsett been terrible? He's fought, he's played physical, he's killed penalties. The one who has been terrible is Vrbata. You're expecting Dorsett to play like Vrbata or something? He's a 4th liner, he plays in a 4th line role.so you have no idea why we would have different expectations for a guy who got 30 last year, and is on pace for 20, then a guy making more than Hansen, who has been terrible in his "role"
I don't know what to say.
Why do people who want to lose complain that the Sedins aren't playing enough? News flash, if you double shifted the Sedins you probably wouldn't have a loss here.
Virtanen sucks.
He can only skate at max speed so he is so predictable.
Guy has zero patience with the puck in the offensive zone.
If he would just stop sometimes in the offensive zone he would realize no one is on him and he has time to make a better play instead of just shooting from a terrible angle.
Omg. Benning is nothing if not blunt and honest. He wasn't playing both sides. He truly believed he improved the team a great deal. He didn't. Being in contention for a top 5 pick was never in the cards. Ever. He constructed a team with no depth, that wasn't good when healthy and has paid the price. He has mis-evaluated players every step of the way.
Holy **** theyre smashing Willie about his line usage and playing guys badly, saying if you're Benning you have to be questioning yourself
Too big of a convo for me to catch it all
I always want to win. I hate losing. So do you still want to win? Or is this game enough to convince you?
