Only good problem I'm seeing is all 3 pickups are playing their asses off as they are looking for big pay days. We probably wont be able to afford any of them.
There's no way we play the same great defensive game if strome is in there and copp aint..
And GG obviously hates Laf's defensive game. Benched again late for motte as he went to 3 lines.
I dont mind it tho. Kids 20 and we needed this win.

Great win

Huge win. The team doesn’t seem nearly as too heavy since the deadline and it looks like we could be a tough out for any team come playoff time. Excited to see what kakko can do on that line with Laf and Chytil when he’s back.

Pittsburgh’s schedule over the next 5-6 games is really tough. Should be a chance to put some points bw us and at least lock in home ice for the 1st round. A couple wins against the Canes and we could be looking at a 1st place finish.

Not true. They can theoretically sign all 3 assuming they are looking for about 10 mil between them, (Copp 5M, Vatrano 3M, Motte 2M). Let Strome, Geo, Rooney walk. Thats 8 mil right there. Trade Nemeth, maybe Reaves. That's another 4 mil. They will probably bridge Kakko and may not resign Blais. It definitely can be done.

Only Letang played more minutes than K' Andre did. Not Fox nor Trouba,.... It was Miller time!
With that with his reach and skating ability he does what very few dmen can do. Little by little he is improving his d game and the coach trusts him.

The team has been drastically improved by Vatrano, Copp and Motte.

It's amazing what happens when your front office actually puts a minimal degree of thought into which players to acquire at the deadline as opposed to just going out and getting fun names and stuff.
Drury really did a fantastic job this deadline. Add a healthy Kakko to the mix and watch out.

Gonna be some very interesting decisions for GG when Kakko and Strome return. I think a Panarin-Copp-Kakko line would be really nice but Strome probably doesn't let that happen.
Will we see a kid line of Laf-Chytil-Kakko? I'm not so sure.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Panarin-Strome-Kakko and Laf-Chytil-Copp at some point if for no other reason to balance that third line with a vet. I would think Gallant knows you can't go into the playoffs not trusting your third line and if he doesn't trust them for a regular shift and taking some tough minutes now and then he's going to have to find a way to make that line more "trustworthy"

Post Game Interviews. Braden Schneider, Chris Kreider and Coach Gerard Gallant.

MSG POST GAME SHOW HIGHLIGHTS AND COMMENTARY.

Just look at Schneider here with Kreider, a 20 yr old young man still growing and filling out. He's going to be a force to reckon with in very short order.

Something about Panarin and Schneider - 100% could be my perception but Panarin seems to like trying to activate the youngster back there - and Schneider seems to read him well.

I know it's asking for the sky but I'd love to see this kid on the PP. The guy has all the tools, give him a longer leash - he was a monster for Team Canada (junior) and he's already very comfortable at the NHL level.
