I dont know about the rest of you but i cant sit and watch this team rebuild the next few years i mean this sucks.I hope they bring in Nash. Kovelnuts and mostly Grabner. And what the hell John Carlson too.Short term contracts for the first 3 if they can.No playoffs this spring AHHHHHHH
This post screams for a gif of Curly Bill in Tombstone...."Well....Bye"

Can anyone post it?

Is it a coincidence that every Rangers coach has been considered an abomination? Perhaps fans just like blaming coaches because they can't face up to the reality of the personnel falling short.

This is not in support of AV, but it can't always be the coach's fault.

Three players go to one opposing player and that's the fault of the coach? Not on this planet.

If we were just a bad hockey team and we were trying our best, I could endure it for a couple of years.

This isn't even hockey.

It's horrible, but I also need to remind everyone that even great teams have stinkers like this.

The effort has actually been pretty good of late prior to that period. That period is what happens when a bad team doesn't get incredible goaltending and their opponent is actually good.

Not saying that you did this because I don't think you were one of those who did, but it's hilarious how the mood has shifted from "I expect to compete next year" after the Sabres game to "I can't believe we have a few years of this mess to look forward to" 48 hours later.

I agree that it is inexcusable for some of the individual decisions and plays. But I will also say that these breakdowns happen all too often. Guys look lost out there. They look lost even as a unit.

Don't worry...this shithead of a coach is gone in a matter of days.

Doesn't excuse the worst defensive zone scheme in memory. It cannot support the infinite number of situational plays that happen on the ice. Players don't know where to go or who to cover. That's the only consistent thing that's happened this year.

Just by looking at ShiftChart, it looks like the KZF line was broken up for one shift at the end of the period. Fast was on with Chytil and Andersson the shift immediately before that.

Torts blows away AV, but that's not saying much and I still didn't think Torts was the right option.

I absolutely adored Tom Renney. Renney's teams had the puck f***ing constantly.

Management has chosen the path. There aren’t going to be long term deals. The Rangers will be a lottery team again next year. If everything goes exceedingly well, they might be on the bubble the following year. Some of us have already accepted this road. The goal is not to duplicate the success of just-completed era, but rather exceed it. That means needing elite talent that they didn’t get in the past era.

I’ve been watching this team for 40+ years and I’m more than ready for this approach.

Why not put the kids on the powerplay? There's no way Zuccarello in his current form is any better than Chytil or Andersson in that spot. At least there's no book on Chytil or Andersson.
