I dont know about the rest of you but i cant sit and watch this team rebuild the next few years i mean this sucks.I hope they bring in Nash. Kovelnuts and mostly Grabner. And what the hell John Carlson too.Short term contracts for the first 3 if they can.No playoffs this spring AHHHHHHH

I was also thinking similarly. The years of buildup of lazy stick-checking trying to spring the transition.

Outshooting? Who cares about that! It doesn't matter if the shots are 100 to -4, a win's a win and all wins are the same!!!!

Gilmour wandering on one goal 20 feet from his man.
Fast wandering on another 20 feet from his man.
Spooner deciding to defend the invisible man at the far post instead of the undefended guy in front of his goaltender.

These are not on any system, no matter how dumb. But yeah sure, 35 people typing some variant of Fire AV 2-10 times in a game thread. gg

AV didn't break KZF, he played Buch there because Fast was with Chytil and Andersson after a PP.

Not very good for georgiev tonight.

Lias looks stronger smarter bigger but man is he an awful skater.

Chytil looks completely lost in his end

The system is absolutely absurd this isn’t roller hockey. Caps are just dancing around.

Namestnikov looks like he actually wants to be an nhler tonight that’s nice. Buchnevich not so much.

The islanders are a joke

Torts blows AV away in every way imaginable.

I don't even consider Torts a great hockey coach, but he's a hockey coach.

AV is not. The Rangers don't play hockey. The Rangers play real-life NHL 18. There is no system. AV collects a paycheck to chew gum.

Exactly my thinking. And tbh kind of a shame it hasn't. I know it can be demoralizing but a few more of these and we'd be picking within the top 7 most likely, which is an immediate boost probably. As it is... we're hoping we get to that. Or package our 10th/11th OA with someone for something we need.

This is down to messed up lines, and a poor defensive system exposing the horrible D squad we have atm without having the gelled offensive lines backing them up. And Georgiev not being amazing, though I can't at all blame him. When you're leaving guys wide open like that in front... damn. So it was bound to happen, but was accelerated and amplified by whatever the F these lines are.

edit: I just wanna see Chytil and Andersson really. That's what I'm here for. Rearrange the lines, put them together with someone who can contribute and let them do whatever.

I agree that it is inexcusable for some of the individual decisions and plays. But I will also say that these breakdowns happen all too often. Guys look lost out there. They look lost even as a unit.
