I don't think anyone was shitting on Gilmour in his 1st game. Now if Lias continues with giveaways like that on nightly basis, he will most definetly get some heat for it.

This has been the way it is ALL YEAR LONG. Open players in PRIME scoring positions leaving the goalie out to dry. Youre going to tell me its the personnel? This how it has been for years. There were just better players to mask it. He cannot teach. He cannot help his players learn and grow with it. He just implements it. He is an awful awful coach.

While I agree with you, it's also on the players as well. When you have Gilmour making a dumbass play by leaving his position, this isn't the system, this is a player going rouge and doing something stupid and leaving a guy wide open.

Or Skjei on the last goal. Lazy and doesn't even attempt to lift the stick to eliminate a possible threat. That's on the personnel.

AV is still f***ing horrible and can't be gone soon enough.

Yes? It didn't mask how bad the team defense was.

Yeah! 6th place and a 2nd round exit while playing unwatchable hockey! That should be what everyone wants! As long as we win 45 games, who cares if it makes my eyes bleed!

Yes, Caps is a much better team at the moment until we hit in the summer draft and in some years developing young prospects, and I believe it helps with a new coaching staff + system.

its more likely next year we will be close to where we are right now this year. no way we will be worse than 10-15. There is a lot of shit teams out there.

I would prefer our best line being together so we only get embarrassed half the game, but other than that, you're not wrong.

I wouldn't even mind if we missed the playoffs next year, but I'd give up a limb to do it with a new coach, play a few good games, and be halfway competitive.

When's the last time the Rangers outshot a team? Anybody?
