Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Toronto

del z and g had a terrible game.. but we had terrible line changes tn that led to odd man situations (del and g going after same guy or watching the puck).. but other then that it was a solid game.. when it was 2-0 i always get worried that you could just stick a fork in them.. they showed fight and came back which i enjoyed.. bounces didnt go our way... on to the next one..

man, at some point it would be nice if someone would capitalize on one of zuccs passes
 
Let's trade Marc Staal.

Spurts of really good play followed up with some of the worst defensive breajdowns seen this year.

Really need to tighten up and get 2 points on Wed.
 
Girardi has been absolutely awful for at least the last month. I realize he's most likely playing hurt, but at this point he's not better than Hamrlik et al.

Man do we miss Staal.

I'm convinced Steps had that goal too if his stick didn't break. I would bet money on it. Just wish our team could finish, Zucc would have 8 points easily so far.

Where would this team be right now without Stepan and Nash? The Rangers would not have 10 wins without these two!!
 
O'fer Canada, and people really think we'd have a shot at beating the Canadiens IF we make the playoffs (And that is still VERY much an IF right now). 4 games and done. That said it's so sad that I'd rather see that than no playoffs because I don't want to hand Columbus a pick lower than 15, or even possibly 1st.

And the each had more TOI in the 3rd than in either the 1st or 2nd...meanwhile Moore played 1:45 in the 3rd.

MDZ had about as much time in the 3rd as Moore had the entire game.
 
This game was 100% winnable.

Once again, the Rangers shot themselves in the foot and lost it on their own.

Last year, we win this game 3-1. Where's the defense? What's with the stupid, pee-wee level decision making? We know they're better than that. Where is the issue coming from?
 
So 3 games in 4 nights and torts can't see fit to even give 11 min to hagelin or brassard.
Barely used fourth line. If not now when torts, sather needs to get involved with this guy. Get miller in there if hand better and maybe Haley or another guy from the whale.

Hags has been playing his game. He has been lining up along side Brian ****ing Boyle. What do you expect him to accomplish. For this team to have three lines that can score, none of them can have Brian Boyle on them. He must play 4th line. Period. Why isn't this obvious to our moron coach??
 
How the hell does del z have the same number of votes as zucc? Sometimes you have to ask yourself if people on here even watched the game
 
Moore and Eminger needed more time. Only pairing that didn't have at least one awful player on it tonight.
 
Zucc was also not as good as people are saying. He was ok on the forecheck (had a few good takeaways) and making passes but could not catch a pass for ****. Go back and look at the first period and you'll see exactly what I mean.
