Islander win tonight, they are embarrassing the Rangers right now, winning games they have to win in order to make the playoffs. Makes last night's loss that much worse. Rangers aren't getting help from other places often the only way in is helping themselves. This is bad right now. Don't fool yourself to think otherwise.

If they drop another one tomorrow night, it will be worse, but splitting a HH with a pretty good leafs team is not horrible.

When you are as desperate for points as this team needs to be, and combine that with tonights results, Yes it is. Has nothing to do with the team they are playing. If they were playing the Penguins or the Panthers or any team they would still need the win.

Lose tomorrow and the chances of making the playoffs drop significantly.
