Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Toronto

One thing I have noticed is that every-time we play against you guys at the ACC, Hank always seems to be a little shaky or he seems to have an offnight. This is just about tonight but even in the past when we were a mediocre team, Lundqvist doesn't seem to do well against us.

Hank went what? 10 straight games giving up 2 or less goals? Last night wasn't the end of the world.

Unlike Pyatt and many others this year, Powe shows up night in and not out to do what we're gving him a paycheck to do. Whats not to love?

All the zeroes next to his name. I get that's not his job, but there are many players around the league who can do what he does while chipping in with a goal or a completed pass once in a while.

Umm what. Don't get me wrong, powe is fine, but he isn't a great 4th liner by any means. 0 points at this point in the season is unacceptable. Especially from a 4th liner who doesn't have any fight to his game.

He's a fine plug for this year, but i sure as hell hope he's gone next year. He and pyatt should be sent packing on clean up day this year unless they do something down the stretch and in the playoffs that hasn't been seen yet.

How true...Biron should have started the game . Opposition barn...tired and hurt King...Leafs good offensive team...Rangers due for a loss...all added up to Torts screwing it up . A puck handling Biron could have helped the D a few times in this game . Haley also should have been in the game in place of Pyatt .
 
I honestly did not hear one suggestion that Biron should start before the game started.

This was in reference to an earlier post about stats.

Just like the High Life commercial and that portrait of a dog, it's makin' me queasy.
 
Torts and Marty were Instagrammed skating together. Sign that he starts tomorrow? Unlikely. Moar Hank!

Biron probably should have started, but you can't really fault Torts. We need points every game, it's got to be a tough decision to sit your Vezina winning goalie (and best player) against a team above us in the standings. Start Hank tomorrow, Sat vs NYI and Tuesday in Philly. Play Marty vs Florida or Buffalo.

I don't know what you want out of him.. he checks, good in his own zone, good on the PK, blocks shots.

He can be on my team anyday.

You'd seriously like him better if he just fought as well? Why?
 
Well with the fish sticks winning tonight and the Jets up 2-0 on Buffalo, it looks like we may find ourselves out of a playoff spot. Tomorrow is MUST win.

Islander win tonight, they are embarrassing the Rangers right now, winning games they have to win in order to make the playoffs. Makes last night's loss that much worse. Rangers aren't getting help from other places often the only way in is helping themselves. This is bad right now. Don't fool yourself to think otherwise.

Tomorrow, the next game, the game after that, and the game after that.

Every game they have left.

They lose tomorrow and the odds will be stacked against them HEAVILY.
