complete ****ing let down. We didn't win because they outplayed us or the game was dictated by the style. We were bad. The end. Your goal scorers go out and scores 3 and the defense ***** the ****ing bed. Pathetic. Absolutely awful. How do you blow an entire game all by yourself on a team with $67M worth of talent in a ****ing playoff race?
 
I'm pretty sure Zucc air mailed it to Stepan and he tried to shoot it out of the air and it broke his stick. I think Zucc's backhand was also bad this game. Terrible passes and shot attempts using his backhand. At least he tries his heart out.
 
some guys looked like they were out of gas, 3rd in 4 cant say i didnt see this coming, nash did exactly what we needed of him but the defense didnt show up, very important two points gone

teams coming off the post deadline high, itd be nice if hagelin could help out with something other then skating fast, del zotto looked terrible but hes been great all season however when del zotto and girardi both have terrible games youve got a problem.
 
We didn't deserve to win? ********. Del Zotto cost the team 3 goals and Lundqvist was hung out to dry on each goal against. Waste of a god mode effort from Stepan and Nash
 
I don't come here and complain much but Del Zotto was atrocious tonight. The guy couldn't stay in position. Staal please come back now.
 
I love how I now couldn't care less if we score more than one goal I just want to see 60 minutes of really good/tough defense. :help:

Kind of off topic here, but Zucc really needs to get some more points. He plays like an 80+ points scorer and for his sake should at least have a few more by now.

Pyatt continues to be useless.

Did you see the 2nd Nash goal? It was Hags driving to the net that provided the room for Nash to drive to the net. Stop looking at the stat sheet
 
Leaf fan here. Man, Rick Nash is a gamebreaker. Almost impossible to stop him when he's driving the net
 
Lundqvist go too much **** in the GDT. Three goals came with a guy all alone in front of the net, and he made the first save two of the three times. Then there was that other goal that came on a 2 on 1.

Same old **** with this team.
 
Good game, Rangers. You guys played well in our zone and had many good scoring chances. Rick Nash is an absolute beauty. All in all, a really entertaining game. Good luck and hope you guys beat the Isles for that playoff spot :thumbu:
 
Sorry, I don't complain about the refs often, but they were definitely calling to the home crowd tonight. The Phaneuf dive, phantom high stick, countless no calls on guys like Phaneuf and Fraser who if they got called for the clutching and grabbing they do wouldn't even be in the NHL.

Thought overall the Rangers outplayed the Leafs but their defensive gaffes, mainly by MDZ, Girardi and Stralman who made SEVERAL turnovers. Del Zotto can not be playing top pairing minutes.
 
DZ and Girardi were horrendous tonight. Staal needs to come back yesterday. This is why people scoff when someone says we should trade him. Staal is our best dman get it through your thick skulls.
