I run the pools at work and the last 2 years most have been done via Venmo. Do friends and family payments count or is it only sales of goods/services.

You'll be getting a 1099 from any third party payment processor/marketplace/etc if you sell over $600 on the year on their platform. Includes Venmo, PayPal, Facebook, Ticketmaster, StubHub, eBay, etc. Old threshold was 200 transactions and 20K in sales but that's been reduced to a flat $600 for the year.
Any idea if the same would apply if you choose account credit instead of being paid out? Almost a moot point for me since I never seem to sell on TM despite listing, but perhaps may be helpful for others.

Anyone been paid out for the January 2nd and 3rd games through Ticket Exchange yet? I assume I haven’t gotten mine as they could be withholding due to tax info. If so, how would I go about updating my tax info?

They don't make it easy to find that's for sure. I searched and found the link as Seller Tax Details

I added my info last week and received payment today for the Jan 2nd game that I sold.

I know nothing about the Buffalo Chronicle but a quick Google search indicates that the site is a bunch of nonsense. Not to mention, everything in the article is completely out of left field with no previous sources indicating any of that. It’s going to cost $800 million to acquire the land and build a new arena? It cost a billion to redo the current one 10 years ago lol.

Couldn't think of a more annoying location on the west side to potentially move MSG to. No direct subway connection, the bus (if there is one) would be overwhelmed every game, and the whole light rail idea while on paper sounds nice would be a logistically nightmare to construct.

Agreed. Light rail in Manhattan is a big as boondogle as the Springfield monorail. Too late for this but it would have been nice for the city to have a "stadium district" with multiple stadiums for all the major teams, hotels, cool bars, and awesome restaurants.

If NYCFC ever got their ducks in a row a Citi Field/NYCFC stadium district in Willets Point could be awesome. That land has a ton of potential.

And they're going to use federal infrastructure money to do this. Sure they will.

New York Rangers vs. Boston Bruins game originally scheduled for Sunday, April 24 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 15 at 7:00 PM

Pretty crappy to take one of the most expensive games of the year and move it from a Sunday afternoon in April to a Tuesday night in Feb, especially when it didn't need to be moved due to its postponement.

Yeah, on top of that, the December game vs. Montreal that was moved to Feb was one of the few that actually sold above face value for me. Of course, the buyer requested a refund due to the change of date. lol

Not the right thing to be complaining about but.... my rep has upgraded me to Delta twice this season. I'm very grateful that I've gotten to sit close and all the perks the club offers. But boy has the food gone downhill compared to pre covid. Went from prime rib, crab legs, lobster tails, roasted chicken, etc to random offerings from the concession stands on the 6th floor and a pasta dish. If i was laying out that kind of money for personal or business use i would be rather annoyed by this change.

For the record last night these were the offerings
Burgers
Dogs
Sushi (Salmon, Tuna neigri, California roll and one other option)
BBQ Veal
Italian Panini
Ravoli

I got lucky selling the Wings game on Stubhub, which I'm assuming was a holiday gift for the buyer since it was a high price, Stubhub's policy is as long as the game is played, it's on the buyer to do what they want with the tickets, either go or re-sell them.

I'm actually surprised Hub doesn't offer buyers a refund, but I guess that wouldn't be possible if you transferred the tickets to the person who did the buying.

Did you guys see in the email of scheduled games that we can get refunded on those games through msg if we choose? Pretty good especially if theres no demand or your game was refunded to the buyer

I think that’s for the buyers on TM not season tickets

Stubhub won't offer a refund because, aside from the logistics you mention, they would have to refund their fees from both sides.
