Only player really is Nash but he had chances

Oh and hamorilk was scratched

1) Beaver hit the lottery, but other than that luck *ss bounce.....he was HORRENDEOUS
2) Cally sniped a perfect shot on our 1st chance in OT after being pinned in our zone
3) Henrik kept us in it with a few key saves (he didn't do much in regulation)

Girardi was Terrible this game. He's been noticeably bad most of the year. He's the only Ranger D with a minus rating. He's on the ice for seemingly every goal against

Nash didn't do anything the first 2 periods. He brought the effort in the 3rd and had a few golden chances but didn't finish. I give the pass to Nash usually because he tries and gives the effort....even if his 1 on 4 toe-drag moves don't work

Clowe was invisible before he got hurt

I feel the team just did not bring the effort that was needed tonight. They got lucky and got the W. But other than Zucc, Hags, and another player or two...the rest of the team looked anemic

I was at the Caps game, just got home, was scoreboard watching the whole time. Thankfully the nhl app had a GCL sample of the Ranger game. Watched it more than the caps game. then my battery died, literally sat in the middle of the concourse sitting near an outlet, screaming loud as ****. Haven't screamed that loud since Gabby's triple OT goal.
It's almost poetic that I was in that same building.

Knew he was going to be a gamer the very first day we got him. If Torts continues to give him top 6 forward ice time and power play time he will continue to do just fine. Guy gets so excited when the team scores.

I was so frustrated this game once they tied it and then went ahead. When Cally went wide in OT, I put my beer down and said, "Cally, bury that shiat"

And he did. Much rejoice in the household here.

Yes, Gilroy was absolutely horrible.... Thankfully he wont sniff any ice time in the playoffs.

They dominated, Ellis made a couple of great saves to keep it at 2-0, then a couple of more to keep it tied up, Bergeron saved a goal.

There were a couple of costly defensive breakdowns.
Why was McD pressuring the point on the pk? He left a 2 on 1 down low.
On the second goal against, 4 guys around the puck including Stralman who got caught up ice and on the wrong side again.
As to the 3rd goal against, there are a couple of ways to try to stop a 2 on 1, Stralman took away neither the shot nor the pass, kinda in no mans land.

They deserved the lucky bounce and the win, they need to clean up their defensive issues though.
