I rarely look at AHL standings.

But, the Amerks are currently 4th in the League overall with 60 points. They are 2nd in the League overall in points percentage.

They have won 5 in a row.

Interesting, Laval is on a 6 game win streak. Cayden Primeau is 10-0 since being waived by Montreal.

About the only good thing to come out of Adams tenure as a GM is him bring the Amerks back to relevancy.

Up to 2nd in goals for, 11th in goals against, 10th best PP and 11th best PK.

Still wild to me that every player who has dressed for more than 1 game has at least 1 5-on-5 point.

Jax is in OT with OSB.

Edit - and they win it on a nice solo 1-on-2 rush that winds up being cashed by the trailer. Jax basically just keeping pace in their division.

Didn't have the volume on, didn't realize it was old friend Ivan Chukarov with the GWG -

I’m already prepared to be annoyed when Adams doesn’t paper transaction Kulich to Rochester so he can play in the playoffs. “He played a full NHL season” he’ll say as a reason he no longer requires experience that a playoff run could provide. Not knowing that half the league actually plays beyond their regular season every year…because how would he?

Apparently flying under the radar tonight was the Amerks 5-1 victory over Cleveland. Aube-Kubel with 2 goals, Rosen with his 24th, Kozak with his 7th. Levi was in goal and had 21 saves. Rosen's 40 points have him 7th in AHL scoring. His 24 goals are 2nd in the league.

Amerks busy this week for games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's 3:05 start vs Laval comes after a 7 PM game the night before in Utica.

On a related note, there was a nice interview with Amerks Head Coach Mike Leone on Sabres Live today.

jumping over Helenius in the pecking order now Chain ?

He's being productive and getting 1C icetime. Helenius returned from the U20's and has not looked like himself and is now playing RW3. Granted, Helenius is the youngest player in the AHL and at the same age, Ostlund was in HockeyAllsvenskan with only 26 points in 38 games. There is still time. Neither is a finished product.

Rathbone from Ostlund and Rosen (note the backhand pass) -

Komarov on the PP getting into great position with a little short area dangle and finishes -

Rosen's GTG goal -

Ostlund's GWOTPPG -

Good OT night as Jax also gets the W:

Laaouan also had an assist on their first goal (with only 1.3 seconds left in the period) by Chris Grando and they had a shorty from Chase Lang.

Developmentally, also the first game back for Nadeau after an 11 day absence from the lineup (don't know for what, probably injury or illness related) and he had an assist. I do know he was out for both of the games against Trois-Rivières.
