Not a easy game to play but we did something we never did under Quinn. Win a tight 2-1 game
I even heard a rumor in the post game that not only did we hold the lead in a tight 2-1 game, we actually had some good scoring chances as well
With the lead and time winding down. That’s a nice shift instead of being back on your heels defending and praying....

I think Georgiev needs that too. Which is why it’s imperative they move Georgiev…yesterday.
Shesty and Georgiev also don't like each other. It was too much of a competitive situation for a while.
My son is a goalie, and he loves having a "goaltending partner" - another kid he can practice with, have weird little goalie talks with, etc. Shesty needs a veteran back up, someone good enough, easy going and supportive. Too bad Khudobin is not available, he'd be great on every level.

Dobby could be actually. Holtby, Bishop and Oettinger as the heir apparent. All the vets are older. Oettinger has shown solid potential and they need to move toward the future. Dobby could probably shake free. I know Bishop’s health is up and down but he was supposed to be close to ready. Also I thought Holtby signed a two year. Dobby seems like low hanging fruit.

Nils Lundkvist, same age as K’Andre Miller and got absolutely burnt by another rookie leading to a goal including numerous mistakes: high IQ player that’s still learning

K’Andre Miller who has had 2 bad shifts that didn’t even lead to goals against and has only been playing defense since age 16. Played 18 mins per night last season while Nils was in the SHL absolutely dominating Crosby and Barzal at times, incredible stop on a 2 on 1 today and embarrassed Jamie Benn yesterday with a fantastic athletic play: dumb player, low IQ, should be in the AHL

Well we both know why that is. Let's not kid ourselves.

Still laughing at Fox breaking that dudes ankles on the GWG, just a special player.
I honestly don't know how he does it. Dude must be on those pills Bradley Cooper was taking in Limitless.
There was one play he was on the pk behind the his own net with two Montreal forwards on each side of him. He goes one way then the other and somehow gets by both and gets the puck out. With zero help from his team. Freaking Houdini

Jake Allen is an NFL quarterback's name.

These are the important facts.

J.J. Watt should have been Julien Warszinski and he’d have been the greatest power forward ever.

Aaron Rodgers, who said he’s buy a hockey team if he won the lottery, could have been lucky enough to have been Aaron Asham. Imagine how much happier he could be?

@Leonardo87 let off the hook by Laf scoring the go ahead goal. Good game. We need to invest in being defensive and being comfortable in close games. Fox Lindgren works because Lindgren knows his role. Miller Trouba doesn't know their roles on that pairing. That goal against highlights it. Trouba commits on the wall and Miller isn't backing up. Lindgren would have bad his ass at the center ice by the time the puck is turned over in the offensive zone. Then they both go behind the net for some reason. That's where the D coach needs to work some magic or break that pairing up.

Incredibly accurate, well done.

The move Fox makes on Evans is next level. I mean he takes the guy so hard he crashes into the boards harder than most checks would have sent him.

Rooney is a key piece to this team. The guy is Blair Betts/Dom Moore level 4th liner. Gets the job done 9 times out of 10.

100% - I really like what he brought here.

"Hey coach? Did someone bleed on me while I was shutting up the arena?"
