Well, the top lines are not looking like a Gallant team up front so far. So, not sure what to tell you. Unless he changed his system to mirror Quinn's all of the sudden.

This isn’t going to look like Gallant’s team for a couple months. Possibly longer with all the baby teeth on the roster.

The fact that everyone wants to defend Nils when he gets walked or plays like complete nervous trash and that when K’Andre has 2 bad shifts in one period out of 9 despite looking great in every other shift, everyone jumps on him immediately.

The Miller/Trouba pairing has looked really good through 3 games. I’m sure that goes against the charts though

Yeah Laf is visibly in better shape. It's very noticeable when he's not in his gear and also on the ice, he's much quicker.

Disagree. For pretty much his first game playing as a top 6 center, he did fine. And even though he's been here forever, he's still just 21. He's going to get better the more he gets these opportunities (as he's gotten better every year here).

I actually think Chytil did a lot of the little things right and had a good game. Used his speed/power and almost buried a great chance late too

Team has a bit more identity and better bottom six. Defense is, I mean, probably a little better than last year? Same?

Kreider has 3G in 3 games. The problem has honestly been Zib, Bread and Strome. Also the kids still not taking tangible steps. Who would have thought Zib, Bread, Strome would be our big issue so far?

Injured? Maybe I missed/forgot something. He was out for covid protocol tonight. It isn’t the point. It’s not an attack on Strome. It’s about our three highest scoring forwards being very absent for the most part. Zib started to show something towards the end of the game today. Panarin has been quite underwhelming. Strome was abortion level the first two games.
