I just went and watched Panarin’s 2nd period shift. Looked fine. Didn’t have contact with anyone except one minor run-in with Kessel. Didn’t see much there. It wasn’t a super active shift, a lot of up and back with nothing happening. Doesn’t seem like it could be that serious.
Was watching the same. Long shift, too. I suspect he either is under the weather or had a skate problem and the laces were quadruple knotted. Hoping for the former because no one gets out of QK.

Being a Coyotes fan is what being a Giants fan is like, inventing new ways to lose. There's no way they should have lost this game but they're a really bad team. Being bad doesn't mean you get blown out every game or dominated every game, you just don't know how to win or close out games.
Erm… the Giants pepper their sucky stretches with out-of-the-blue championship seasons. As a Jets fan I take umbrage with a Giants fan feeling any disaffection.

I'm responding the post that he should be our backup, seems like critiquing his play and comparing him to Georgiev's current play is appropriate.
I think we need to compare Georgiev making a spot start to WINkaid making a spot start. And WINkaid is comparable. Georgiev just doesn’t have the experience to come off the bench cold and do his thing. Guys just need to be in appropriate roles and I think WINkaid is more suited to playing once every ten days. It’s the same reasoning we don’t want a promising young player splitting time between the press box and the fourth line.

Yes. Awesome!

For a Rangers fan, what could be better on a Wednesday night, than having a comeback win late in the 3rd period? I can't think of a better way to win or have fun than hearing Sam's iconic call,... It's a Powerplay Goal!

Let's thank the Yotes for the Too Many Men with 3 minutes to go. LOL

This win in one picture. But a win is a win.

Doesn't feel nearly as good as when we were playing well. The team I saw today wasn't even a playoff team.
Sure, but finding ways to win games where you play like shit is also a strength. Like at the beginning of the season.
I can't wait for the Friday game to be over so everyone can stop talking about how tired they are.
You know they're looking really tired right now, right? :sarcasm:

Yeah but the schedule all month has been heavy with 9 games in 15days plus they are going through the normal regression in play and the injuries. No shesterkin for 7 games now, no Lundkvist for 4. Rough stretch.

Not really. Chytil, Strome, and Kakko missed time earlier in the season and Blais is out for the year. Missing Lundkvist and especially Shesty who is their most important player while they aren't playing well in general is a problem. Igor has missed 7 games so far. And now Panarin is out for who knows how long. We haven't had a complete roster the entire year.

A seven game stretch they're gone 4 - 3 in. When Igor got hurt I just wanted them to go .500, and so far they have.

Anyways even in '14 they had a mediocre December.

I also think it's time for Barron. I still think Chytil has more to offer. He's talented, big, and fast. I don't know what the problem is.
It's simple...he is a chicken despite being a bigger guy . Hockey is a tough game...you have to be involved to be successful and or REALLY fast and shifty/skilled if you are not physical to get your name on the scoresheet . Guys like him are a dime a dozen . One of him and Gauthier has to change up their style of play if they want to remain as Rangers .

Kincaid sucked. That goal that Hajek saved squeezed through him, the first goal squeezed through him, he did stop a mediocre breakway attempt from a guy that was knocked off balance, but Georgiev the way he's playing now is better.
Hajek generally has been surprisingly not terrible. Prefer him to Tinordi at least as 7d fill in

Georgiev is the biggest lockeroom cancer in the NHL and Kinkaid is beloved is my point. Kinkaid was no worse than Georgiev tonight, while being 100x the teammate. Kinkaid is a Brendan Smith like character. Watch the video of the team and Kinkaid at the end of this game and then contrast it with the team and Georgiev after his wins.

How do you know* this?

*Apart from your own fantasy, which is arguably bigger than the entire Disney filmography.

We’ve picked up 8 out of 14 points with our 2nd, 3rd and 4th string goalie playing. Even if we lose Friday that’s 8 of 16 (assuming Shesty doesn’t play). Picking up half or more of the possible points with a condensed schedule and multiple back ups. I would have taken that and run after that SJ game.
