Being a Coyotes fan is what being a Giants fan is like, inventing new ways to lose. There's no way they should have lost this game but they're a really bad team. Being bad doesn't mean you get blown out every game or dominated every game, you just don't know how to win or close out games.

RE: Kinkaid - I've said it before and I'll say it again. He should be our back up. Not only is he capable, he really seems like a positive force kinda person. Having people like that around is good for morale. Package Gio and Chytil and bring us back something decent. Call up Barron ffs. This team needs a bit of a shake up.

Kincaid sucked. That goal that Hajek saved squeezed through him, the first goal squeezed through him, he did stop a mediocre breakway attempt from a guy that was knocked off balance, but Georgiev the way he's playing now is better.

I also think it's time for Barron. I still think Chytil has more to offer. He's talented, big, and fast. I don't know what the problem is.

Before anyone complains about the struggle against Arizona…

A win is a win is a win.

It’s especially a win when the team has hit a small snag here, with Igor out and in this particular game Panarin out. The team has looked like they are going through the motions the last few games. Not imposing some of their will that has made them successful and swung momentum/possession in games to lead to more offense. Their offense has looked inept.

So to come away with the 2 points is huge. Its a long season. As long as they keep these snags or rough patches to a minimum, they will be fine.

And yet it was a back-to-back on a mini mid-west trip. Though Kinkaid played well enough for a backup. More than serviceable.

It just feels like, win or lose, you find issues with really any goalie in net unless they shutout the other team with a spectacular effort.

I'm responding the post that he should be our backup, seems like critiquing his play and comparing him to Georgiev's current play is appropriate.

I don’t agree. this was a bad team and we looked horrendous.

it’s a problem how mediocre we’ve looked against quality teams, and we have a big stretch of it coming up in January. We need to improve. We need to play better. I’d rather miss the playoffs entirely than get blown out in round 1.

It is December 15th. This team has room to improve, yes. But a team that continues to finds a way to win, and collect points, shows management they should add at the deadline to the group and make it deeper. Fix some of the holes. The team will look different come round 1.

They shouldn't have needed to "find a way to win" against one of the worst assembled teams to ever play this sport. And that's the issue.

Find a way to win against the Avs. If your team needs to find a way to win against the Coyotes, then there are major problems.
