I CAN'T STAND, when a team loses 2-1 and one player screws up royally, we can't blame him because the team scored 1 goal only. If Boyle doesn't act like a selfish baby we win, I don't care how many goals we scored. No one screwed up nearly as bad as this garbage ****ing POS.
 
I'm getting really sick of watching this team playing the most boring hockey games and still not being able to win. When Avery was around at least we had some entertainment value, now it's worse than watching the Devils in the dead puck-era.

When exactly did he start to pick it up: when he made a boneheaded icing or when he was alone with Holtby and still managed to shoot the puck wide?

The difference in this series is the line changes. They get last go. When we had last go at home we looked great and won both games. Torts needs to have something planned for game 7 where he gets the matchups we want..Hard but doable....
 
problem with this team is torts plain and simple. We have changed this team over how many times already? To get the SAME RESULT. It's obviously the coach and his Pejorative Slured system. I just want to slap him with a ****in fish

imagine if he got so pissed that he would threaten to go back to Sweden if the management doesnt get the players or coaching staff to help him out. im glad he doesnt have that type of selfish character

There's still a Game 6 to be played.


We were down 3-2 last year in the first round. We overcame that. I don't remember what it was like here during that time, but I'm sure it was doom and gloom as usual. Every team goes through adversity.

Yep. This is a point I was going to make myself, actually. We always see people complaining about getting trapped in the zone. But Hank is not eating the puck up like he has done in the past. He's always been mediocre with rebounds, but he's been outright bad lately with them. It's getting our team tired, it's getting more shots on him, and it's hurting our offense as well.

If he can just get his rebound control back to mediocre it would be a huge help for this team. We'd still be trapped sometimes, but at least we could get a whistle at times.

I love Hank, but he has some very real flaws. I think the glove hand is just never going to improve, but I'd like to see his rebound control get back to what it was a couple of years ago.

Boyle was dumb. Not arguing that. 0 shots between our Captain and 7.8 million dollar man is ridiculous and the no show in the 3rd period was awful.

If this team truly doesn't have the stones to sack up after that penalty, then we don't deserve to advance.
 
Every time this happens. EVERY TIME! WE NEED OFFENSE YOU IDIOT BEHIND THE ****ING BENCH!!! WHAT KIND OF TEAM JUST LETS THE OTHER TEAM WALTZ IN AND FIRE ON ALL CYLINDERS AT THE BLUE LINE? BE AGGRESSIVE? YOU HAVE TO SCORE TO WIN! idiots. I hate the fact that they play like this.

lol...Have no fear a loss is not the series yet...but it will be for the caps when we win games 6 and 7.
 
I can't wait until I never have to see ****ing Brad Richards on a power play again. Torts really makes some ****ing stupid decisions. Brass and Moore play great... Play Richards and Del Zotto on first unit PP!!! And Nash and Callahan go **** yourselves.

Just some venting, I'm still optimistic about winning this series. We can't have Boyle taking dumbass penalties like that but good lord Ribeiro what a dive. Might have been worse than Ovechkin's. So of course he scores the gwg, meth head looking loser.
 
that looked and feels like game 6 against the devils last year...at least Rangers still have one more game....just concentrate on that game, the Rangers have not done anything easy all season. Also, that amount of shots on net is pathetic!!

I do expect Nash and Callahan to really bring it on Sunday...Why?...it is just a feeling, these two will step up! They have to, do or die!
 
It's like the team plays two different ways at home and on the road. They play the way they should at home playing a hard, forechecking uptempo game, while they collapse and play a 1-4 from the opposing blue line down to Hank away. If we play our game home and away, this is a win.

I can't have an opinion?

The Rangers have lost all three road games thus far and had, literally, maybe five or six good scoring chances in those games. They've scored twice. They are something like 0-for-12 on the PP. They have given up a PP goal in each of their away games.

Have you seen anything from this team that indicates they'll be able to win a game on the road? I certainly haven't. And I'm generally one of the more positive people here — I'm just being realistic, at this point. This team doesn't forecheck on the road. They sit back, lose every puck battle, and in general play sloppy, uninspired hockey.

Bring last year's team back, at least I knew that team was always going balls-to-the-wall. This team seems so fragile.
 
What the heck is Nash showing out there, figure skating? Why doesn't he just shoot instead of trying those silly spins?

He's been a huge disappointment in this series.

The guy went down like he was shot from a weak ass slash by Boyle after he was absolutely mugging Boyle in front of the ref. You can't call Boyle for that if Ribs isn't going to the box for either roughing or diving.

If you are going to "let them play," then both teams need to be allowed to play. If you are going to call it tight, than both teams need to be called tight.

How many times a year is that same exact call made? So many times. You act like it's so unheard of for someone to get away with one and the guy who retaliates goes to the box. Happens all the time. It's a dumb selfish penalty.
