Kinda like giving three stars in that first preseason game against the isles….didn’t matter then (well, to most of us except….you know…)…and doesn’t matter nowWhat? No 3 stars of the game?

Especially coming off a full summer off. They play Saturday and Monday and then not agin until Thursday. No reason Igor couldn't play tonight and tomorrow and Georgiev get Saturday's game. It's galaxy brain shit like that.
Georgiev is terrible too so the decision should be even easier. This organization and I'm guessing Allaire's love of Georgiev is baffling to me. He's terrible.
Takeaways:
-Gallant playing Hunt/Tinordi backfired royally when the Caps didn’t engage
- too many penalties
-Too many guys still not wanting to shoot unless it’s perfect
-Georgiev is bad
-I expected the D to be bad early with a new system. And they were very bad
-the top 6 had a very Quinn-esque game. No life from any of them. They were soft and that’s going to need to change quickly
It’s just 1 game. Get Lundkvist and Gaut in there tomorrow. LGR
Yup, Igor should've been in net tonight and if you really care about giving him the home opener then start him B2B. Georgiev playing the Caps while Igor plays the Stars shouldn't happen.I can accept not wanting to play Igor on a back-to-back (though I disagree with it), but why not play Igor against a division rival instead of a Western Conference team? Just because it's the home-opener?
Jack Johnson just scored. On a really nice move. I don't even know anything anymore. I don't.
Drury, call up Kravtsov and figure it out.
Pretty shocked to see that the sky is falling in here
Hunt is a servicable 13 forward. Keeping Tinordi over Krav makes even less sense then it did 48 hours agoKaako and Blais were good. Everyone else was bad.
Ziba was invisible. Kreider getting the tip in just to spite me because he was worthless this game.
Tyler Wall hopefully will be ready maybe in like a 2014-15 Talbot introduction this year because Georgiev is going to be out of the league after this season if not sooner.
Just stop being a %$%$% and call up Kravstov and dump Hunt. But we know that won't happen.
bumpYou don’t dress a tough lineup if you’re not going to play a tough game. You don’t start your backup on opening night. You don’t play a static large box against a diamond PP with a big shot at the point as well as the circle.
Putrid coaching throughout.
And the players might wanna show up too.
I’m guessing Gallant thought it was going to be a rugged game and didn’t want his star goalie to be injured in a scrum in front of his net.Not sure why you play your backup against the division rival in the season opener instead of your stater, but not an NHL coach.
Only caught snippets but seemed to be creating chances without much finish. Blair and Kakko looked pretty good.
Giving up 5 is never a good sign.
Lol I’m the last person who should be dunked on after that performance proved everything I’ve said all summer rightKinda like giving three stars in that first preseason game against the isles….didn’t matter then (well, to most of us except….you know…)…and doesn’t matter now
This needs to happen tomorrow:
Igor in for Georgiev
Lundkvist in for Tinordi
Gauthier in for Hunt
It's only one game but we blew chunks
Is anyone else worried that Lindgren is.....off?
His injury end of last season was never quite revealed and his camp honestly stunk. If he regresses into the player that the Bruins thought he was, or even his first year with the Rangers, that's going to domino the top four.
