Gallant thinks Panarin is his Gaborik and Blais can be his Duby. Too bad our defense is either tough and crap or skilled and largely soft.

Sure an occasional win vs the islanders and when we score about 8 goals playing pond hockey vs say the Leafs.

That was, terrible. Miller and Georgiev were abysmal. Not to mention we had no grade A scoring chances. that was the most frustrating part. They couldnt generate offense.

Hunt contributed more in this game than Howden did in his entire NYR tenure.

Kakko still can't shoot either. Demote miller, waive geo, etc is all rearranging deck chairs on the titanic. It starts and ends with an invisible, soft 1st line.

Miller needs more time to learn the position. He’s really been showing the inexperience he has on defense.

seems like pass after pass is a cross ice interception which is a huge no-no for a defenseman.

he has very little situational awareness, looks like the project he was expected to be.

we have enough talent on d in the farm where a project player might not be the right fit.

Georgiev did nothing to help the team.

glad we got tough and now will be on the pk half the game.

kakko looked great, but he might be a better fit on the laf zib line they need a guy like him. Panarin and Strome have shown it doesn’t matter who their wing is.

Outside of the Fox and Lindgren we have no defensemen on the current roster. Trouba is overhyped trash. Miller is way too soft. Send him to the AHL. Nemeth and Tinordi aren't even ECHL caliber.
Kreider is horrible. I think we've seen his peak and we are watching him fall off of a steep cliff. His contract will be talked about in the likes of Lucic maybe even Redden.
Georgiev doesn't belong in a professional hockey league.

I love Blais. Liked what i saw from Kakko and even Lafs physicality. Loved Chytil. Like Reaves.
The rest of the team was just there I guess.

What exactly did you like about Reaves, tonight?

I'm not a huge Kreider fan, but he got the only goal, so it's not a great night to single him out.
