Chytil is actually younger than Barron, much faster and more skilled. Don't sell him short.Chytil is not the answer, losing Blaise hurt, but let Barron take Chytil spot

He sells himself short every shiftChytil is actually younger than Barron, much faster and more skilled. Don't sell him short.
All that talk from Vally was concerning
He just had a 4 game point streak ended. Forget this game. Tomorrow we are back home with Shesty in net and Chytil back with bread and butter. I feel it. With Goodrow centering the 3rd line.He sells himself short every shift
Not giving Fast the third year was so f***ing stupid, like has was about to turn 35.
He's a good hitter but also had 0 goals and 4 assists in 14 games. I don't think he improves the offense much.I like Hunt
Losing Blais low-key hurt. We was a top 9 player.
He needs to show more with the skill level he is supposed to have. To me he needs to show more finish and just a bit more aggressive play.Chytil is actually younger than Barron, much faster and more skilled. Don't sell him short.
If that is the case then Barron just like Chytil will not be part of this team by next year.Chytil is actually younger than Barron, much faster and more skilled. Don't sell him short.
The 4 game point streak is a blip on the radar of his career. He won't be with this team past this season. He just had a 4 game point streak ended. Forget this game. Tomorrow we are back home with Shesty in net and Chytil back with bread and butter. I feel it. With Goodrow centering the 3rd line.
I agree he looks off. And maybe injured. But it’s possible it’s just something that doesn’t really improve with rest. Not sure what that would be…but I reckon they’d have sat him had he been seriously injured. It’s too early in the year not to. I’d think…I still believe Fox has been playing injured since December.
If that turns out to be true the organization is off the rails for not shutting him down.
Talk about hot takes. How is yours any different? Not surprised to see the hot takes flying after this one. Its slightly humorous to see people complaining that if Igor played we wouldve won, but also we arent in the same weight class as Carolina so we wouldve lost. Hard to track the logic there.
Anyway, the team currently has absolute black holes on all 3 RW spots and 3rd pair LD. I was in support of Drury banking on the young forwards taking a leap, but i dont think even the most pessimistic poster couldve predicted how little we are getting from these guys. Lafreniere skates like hes got a piano on his back, Kakko looks like Quinn broke him and Chytil is 0 for infinity on board battles. One of these guys (most likely Chytil) is going to be gone for an upgrade in short order.
Nemeth is also a human icing and extremely soft to boot. Watching him fail to tie up Trocheck's stick on the 1st CAR goal wouldve had a younger player stapled to the bench. I'm a Drury defender but woof what a bad contract. It happens. But Gallant really needs to face the music and take him out of the lineup, or the front office needs to force his hand and acquire an upgrade.
Gotta give credit to Carolina as well, they are an extremely good team. 1 or 2 years ahead of where the Rangers are now. The persistent JT Miller & Jakob Chychrun rumors should come as a surprise to no one, if anything it shows that the org has its finger on the pulse of what the team desperately needs. A top 4 puckmoving D and a top 6 forward who plays with an edge.
At the end of the night, its one game against a more mature team. They will learn from this and be better.
They lose that game with Miller and Chychrun in the line up. Their problems are coaching issues. This team isn't prepared, isn't properly deployed and doesn't have a coherent strategy. Not surprised to see the hot takes flying after this one. Been on this bandwagon for a couple weeks. We need that third pairing to provide some offense. It’s a spot most teams have plugs and we’re playing down to those teams’ level if we’re not exploiting our skill. Maybe there’s another reason but I imagine it’s just “vets don’t go down easy”. I like a lot about Gallant but this old school deference to vets is rubbish. It's a cheap thought but we could really use Jones to help the 5v5. If we can give him some runway, we'll be a better team than with Nemeth by game 70.
Fixed that for youIf we lose tomorrow this board will provide me enough fertilizer to last me the planting season.
I still believe Fox has been playing injured since December.

The biggest concern I have is the apparent lack of concern from the organization. Chytil, Kakko, Laf is a pants on fire problem right now.
If that is the case then Barron just like Chytil will not be part of this team by next year.

How about Seaview hospital?Don't be silly.
They can move to Staten Island and play in that old abandoned mental asylum: Willowbrook.
It's not. This is his 4th season playing and he's dogshit. He's an offensive blackhole and he's growing into literally nothing. Time to move on.The Rangers averaged 3.09 goals per 60 minutes with him on the ice at even strength last season while allowing an average of 1.96. He ranked sixth among NHL centers (min. 20 games played) in points per 60 at five-on-five with an average of 2.6, trailing only Connor McDavid, Jason Spezza, Auston Matthews, Nathan MacKinnon and Leon Draisaitl. NY Rangers agree to two-year deal with RFA center Filip Chytil
He's 22. Too early to give up on him. Particularly because he's big, strong and fast. Let him grow.
Plenty of people here have likened the Rangers to cup contenders this season. This forum is Bi-polar. No one said the Rangers are cup contenders, but they will make the playoffs. Baby steps.
