So that's clearly the game plan, the way Gallant's Vegas team played, but they're just not executing it right now. Any time they look good for a period or a game here and there it's always when they're actually executing the game plan and putting on sustained relentless pressure. Yep, which is infuriating because it's not so much the foot speed that's the problem, it's the way they play. You can play fast without having a team full of Hagelins.

Here's a big issue - Zib and Kreider only want to play with each other and Panarin and Stome only want to play with each other. It's like they completely have blinders on out there with whoever the third guy is on their lines. This is the problem when you build your team around vets and not the young players you drafted.

Not too sure about this. Bread and Butter had good years with Blackwell and Fast. So anyone can basically fill that spot. But losing Buchnevich definitely took some luster out of that top unit. And he is much harder to replace on that line.

Gallant can put together the kids line,... Laf, Chytil, Kakko and let them grow into the top line of the future.

Watched the local Canes broadcast. They kept highlighting all of the ex-Rangers on the Canes. Also asking players about playing with Tony. All talk about what a great guy he is in the room and on the ice. But, them mean tweets.
Happy to see him doing well. The guy is an upgrade over Dougie.
Lindgren is in a slump. Not playing well at all.

if his expected goals wasn’t 6 and he let in 6 I’d be shocked. If Shesterkin has an expected goals of 6 he lets in 2 or 3 let’s be honest. He also kills that Carolina forecheck.

3 in 4 and the tail end is a b2b. If we’re trotting our Georgiev against division foes consistently in the 2nd half of the season during non b2b games, ill get concerned. Attempt to bank the most points to give us a more favorable match up. Regular season match ups means next to nothing. See our clown show of a play in series.

Whether it's a personnel issue or a system... This team 5v5 is embarrassingly bad. We are the worst 5v5 team in the league. There's no excuses.
