I get reps, but he didnt need a full month of reps. Bring him back for the last 3 - 5 games. Give him max rest possible before the playoff grind.

Not rush him back.

I don't remember how soon he came back before the end of the season.

I just remember we got worse instantly (ditto when Lindgren came back.)

This response is beyond infuriating. A player who wasn't a great skater to begin with and was already bordering on being a net negative to the team decided to play through an injury that was affecting his skating. Not sure whether to be more annoyed with Trouba or the organization that let him play despite seeing the on ice results.
Id blame the org.
Saw on Twitter but a player won’t ask out.
They’ll play through it. The coach and gm need to make the hard decisions.

And if they thought Trouba was the right decision, then that’s a point to question their judgement.

Well the team certainly thinks they deserve another kick at the can, that's for sure. lets see how Drury feels.

If it wasn't weight bearing then it wasn't really that big of a deal guys.

Im sure it didn't feel great but no one feels great this time of year. He sucked even before a chunk of his ankle went missing.

Edit: And I agree that while it probably wasn't uncomfortable, it wasn't a big part of his suckage. It didn't stop him from attempting flying tackles and open-ice murder attempts.

If he and Ryan Lindgren both are here in October next season won't be worth watching.

I think Lindgren is a much bigger problem, based on where he plays in the lineup. 8mil for Trouba on the 3rd pair is painful but at least they can hide him, and he is difficult to move... I agree that both guys can't be here. I'll also throw in that Miller has to really improve. Another guy who Rangers twitter loves, but no one can actually say what he's good at. The Kakko Effect.

Also, jokes aside, an injury can effect your head. I think you saw it with both Fox and Trouba these playoffs. Sometimes your thinking about it too much, or second guess a move or pivot you wouldn't otherwise, then youre a step late, then you overthink the read, then the snowball is rolling and it's all over but the crying.
