Give Trocheck the C until Laffy is ready. Loved his responses/attitude, he gets it.
Laffy and Goodrow (if he's still with the team next season) should wear the A. Mika is not leader material, his attitude shows it.
The issue would be an 8.5mil 3rd pair D would limit what you can spend on a 1st or 2nd pair D... and they aren't cheap. Cap aside, I'd agree with you.I'd trade him and our 1st (30th) to any of the 16 teams that are left on his list. Plus, airfare, if that's what it takes.
That being said, if Trouba is playing limited minutes on the 3rd pair and our top 4 looks something like Chychrun/Fox Miller/Schneider with Lindgren/Jones/Whoever + Trouba, I think that's okay too.
Lol two pack of ass
I would have gone with 12 pack of ass, but point taken.I like that Trouba had to put out the clarification that no, I wasn’t injured for the playoffs. Was totally healthy and my play was just a two pack of ass
Next season is also the last year on Panarin's 11.6mil contract, no?Igor and Laf are both under contract for next year. The year after next is when you need to worry about how to fit these guys.
Trouba will be gone by then. Lindgren probably gone. Goodrow probably gone. They will probably look to trade or buyout Kreider as Laf will be ready to take his place (which at 8 vs 6.25 is almost nothing of a bounce).
I would also trade Igor but that won't happen.
Amazing that Rempe can hang with the like of Reaves and MacDermid as a less than decent fighter. Hahaha. I get what you mean: Definitely room for improvement, but he's already top 10 in the league in that department.Very impressed with Rempes exit interview. Seems ready to put in the work and knows he is far from a finished product. If he can become a decent fighter and stronger on his skates, he could be a real weapon. Also mentioned he used to play center and wants to be able to fill that role again.
I think he is underestimated as a side show by alot of fans but I think he can be an important piece moving forward.

A few posters on here told us we would all be surprised when we saw the injury reportIn all honesty i was hoping to hear more injuries, I was kinda expecting something to be wrong with Kreider and Mika and now that there apparently wasn't I wonder why they never did more in the 3rd round.
He's gonna be a third liner sooner than later if he keeps this up. Might even see PP2 if he works on deflections and keeps going to the dirty areas, or the PK if he works on shot blocking. A lot of upside (considering he's a sixth rounder).Love this kid's attitude. If there's anyone I believe WILL dedicate himself to this its him.
Really all I was commenting on was the remark about him not already being a competent fighter…When a player isn't very good, of course there's room for improvement.
Comparing him to players of zero worth dinosaurs is a big no care. If he's just going to become a better fighter, who needs him.
Can he become an overall asset?
Who knows?
At this point, he's by far the most overrated Ranger. People saying but look at the team's record with him don't understand cause and effect.
It would seem he actually is leader material considering the people in the room who would know think so.
