Every year there’s this weird hopeful shadenfreude vibe here on breakup day where we almost hope player x was playing with a missing limb to justify their play.

It almost never lives up to that. I’m sure every guy was banged up, but every team is. The truth is that most of the core here don’t have what it takes.

Playing with the Lindenberg had more of an effect on Fox than his knee did.

Losing sucks, it was a good season. Hope you all enjoy your hot takes. Ive sat through so many bad Ranger teams that I cant even get worked up, it was a good season. I honestly believe with everyone healthy we we weren't beating the cats. They are on their revenge tour for getting battered in the finals last year. See ya all at the end of summer

If the Panthers lose to Edmonton or vice versa does it mean McDavid/Tkachuk/Barkov/etc. dont have what it takes? I just want to know where the goalposts are today.

Yeah, exactly. Barkov has six toes on his feet. Doesn't affect his Selke-winning play.

GOAT take of this thread. I thought the same thing. No injuries from Panarin or Mika or Kreider. Just a shit performance when it mattered most.
