Yeah, didnt trouba actually come back from injury a little early? We already had a playoff spot locked up. Why rush him?

Because guys want to get their reps in instead of going cold into the playoffs.

We knew he was hurt so this isn't a surprise. I just hope the FO doesn't use this excuse to keep him, we know those who still think he is good will.

Looking forward to the Lindgren mystery ailment that some will use to justify keeping him.

Not true at all.

Some of us just dont think he is that good of a gm.

He overpays on most trades., and hasnt gotten great returns on valuable assets such as buch. I actually think he is horrible at trades.

Also his fa signings havent been great to date. Some good, some decent ones, some horrible. Pretty avg overall.

He does look to be drafting well. Will give him credit there.

Just too vanilla and too conservative for my liking.

"Overpaying" on trades is completely arbitrary. he hasnt traded a single prospect of note, and draft picks are draft picks. He did a good job of keeping the first this year. As far as signing go, he hit a grand slam with Trocheck. The length is too much on the Goodrow deal but at least he serves a prupose and shows up when it matters, unlike many of our faves. Nemeth was a disaster but no one is perfect.

I wouldnt call letting Strome and Copp walk for a better outside hire and the 2023 deadline moves conservative or vanilla, but thats just me.

If it wasn't weight bearing then it wasn't really that big of a deal guys.

Im sure it didn't feel great but no one feels great this time of year. He sucked even before a chunk of his ankle went missing.
I think he was definitely worse after the injury.
And if he was in actual pain, it explains some of his poor play.

The fact that he signed Nemeth and then traded 2 2nd rounders to rid him almost negates trocheck

And the kane trade was awful.

And buchnevich was a complete disaster even at the time.

He always seems to pay premiums on trades, while not getting a good return on our prime assets.

This trade deadline was a little better. But again tradding a decent asset for ruwhedal just was dumb.

Just not a fan of his overall body of trades.

Lets see what he does with Kakko this summer.

Fox takes two dirty knees that fans saw and are pissed about: "I was cleared to be on the ice, there's no excuse"

Trouba randomly has an injury the day after the trade deadline: "a piece of my ankle came off and it hurt to skate"

Im not saying he wasn't compromised, but i did notice their answers.

I get reps, but he didnt need a full month of reps. Bring him back for the last 3 - 5 games. Give him max rest possible before the playoff grind.

Not rush him back.

Buchnevich wasnt a prime asset. He was an unsigned RFA. Drury couldve done better I guess but not by much if you go off the Arvidsson and Reinhart trade returns that happened the same summer. I can't believe we are still talking about this after all these years. Would you feel better if it was Blais and a 1st instead of a second?
