You can't forget Kakko is 18 years old. It's a hard sell he will improve everyone around him at this time. What would be best is to put him in situations where he will thrive, like the powerplay and with proven finishers. You ask me, I can see Kakko setting up Panarin's and Ziba's one-timers all day long. And visa versa.I’m torn on Kakko and Panarin potentially playing on a line together in the future. I think Kakko is the kind of player who can mesh with anyone on his line.
It's good he won't start there at first, give him time to acclimate before giving him top minutes.
