Like his game on the ice, Hayes lacks finesse.
I’d say he demonstrates a lot more finesse with his stick than with his mouth.

I don't have a problem with Hayes' comments.
He's entitled to his perspective, and it isn't off base.
All it does is add to the rivalry.
Problem though is concussions are cumulative. The next hit doesn't have to be so crushing. But while Nieves has been concussed and it is totally fair to bring it up, it is also fair to point out that Boo's superior skating usually avoids or minimizes these types of super heavy hits.
Is he really? He married for the money.I think he could have given a more stock answer "I've moved on." "I enjoyed my time there, but now am excited to be a Flyer".
He didn't need to discuss moves the Rangers have that didn't have anything to do with him.
So Hayes isn’t excited to be a Flyer because he also likes the contract offer? Is he really? He married for the money.
Mercenary.
This. 100%. I love guys who aggressively backup their teammates. The guy is so game. That has to be infectious. Makes his teammates play just a little bigger.Honestly Haley’s done enough to earn a contract, IMO. He shouldn’t start for the big club unless there are like 4-5 injuries to the forwards, but I wouldn’t mind him making ~700k in the AHL mentoring/sticking up for the kids.
Well. He got dumped by the love of his life. Makes a guy a bit hard, jaded. Is he really? He married for the money.

I don't agree with the dislike for these guys. They chose the Rangers over other teams and gave their best. The Rangers decided to end those relationships, not Vesey, not Hayes. I'm sure they both would prefer to be Rangers.Hayes is a meathead always has been. And don’t get me started on his masshole video game buddy Vesey.
Likely. You got to think we see more cuts after last nights game. Only 3 left we should start to get an idea for which guys we’re giving a more in-depth look at.
Will be at the Illenium concert tonight at MSG so will have to DVR the game, but really looking forward to getting a look at Robertson in an NHL game. A bit weird though that they're putting him on the right side. Philly will be coming with a strong lineup so he'll be tested.
As of today, looks like:
Panarin - Zibanejad - Buchnevich
Kreider - Chytil - Kakko
Skjei-Trouba
DeAngelo - Staal
Fox - Hajek
Lundqvist
Georgiev
The bottom six forward group is a total mystery with Andersson, Howden, Strome, Namestnikov, Kravtsov, Fast, Lemieux, Nieves, Haley, and Rangers legend Greg McKegg.

I don't think lias looks a ton faster at all to be honest...I think the biggest difference is he's constantly moving his feet...he was such a floater last year...it's why I couldn't understand the "motor" comments about him.
He's kept his feet moving this preseason and it's made a monumental difference. He also looks much stronger on the boards ..he was a big gaping black hole in the boards last season..bow he looks decent. He's not consistently winning the battles...but it's a battle now..they're 50 50. That's a big difference
Strome hasn't shown much so far.
