A sweep in the ecf is in my opinion not likely to happen, because any team that gets in to the ecf is a good team capable enough to win a game.
If you are going to lose, this is the game. You still have a lead in the series and did not play a good game but lost in ot. Come back Sunday and bury them. 4-1 or 4-2 is Lilley outcome

Everyone just needs to enjoy your weekend.. than Sunday morning get ready..honestly I'm never ever optimistic but I feel we got this. WE WILL WIN GAME 4

worst outcome possible. this f-ing montreal team isn't going to go away.

go back through the previous game threads tonight - many of us said it - that this game STINKS of the boston series - and sure enough, here we go again

because of this totally predictable loss tonight - this series is totally up in the air. Montreal can absolutely take it now. Cant believe it. Who the hell is gonna knock them off?

Since game 1 in Boston, all they've done is get totally dominated and win the game. Game. After game. After game. After game. Same old game plan. Get walked all over each game.. and then win it. seems like it can't be real, with the way they play such garbage hockey, and here they are, ready to go deep into round 3. Someone had better figure them out, and fast. If the way to win a game is to get destroyed for 60 minutes and then still win it, maybe the Rangers should adapt this style of play. Because it worked for Montreal for 7 games in Boston and now tonight again.

I really hate to say it, but this is going to go right to 7 games and don't be surprised if the habs take it.
"who's gonna knock them off?" We are gonna knock em off that's who. I trust the leadership on this team and they will keep everyone on track. They played a good game tonight. Thoroughly dominated and got two **** bounces. What are ya gonna do? If they continue to play like they did tonight they will not lose that often. Everyone just needs to RELAX.

The momentum would only matter if it existed but since it doesn't exist it's irrelevant. Please just read anything about momentum in sports. Time and time again it was proven false. Because Tokarski had one good game today we should now reevaluate his abilities and assume he is "hot" and will perform above his norm next game? Every single study about this shows that this is not the case.

Do you ever post on here without criticizing other posters? Just curious. Just about every post you make is whining about something someone else wrote. I don't agree with the guy at all, but all you do is complain about his posting.

I derive great pleasure from pointing out his consistent lunacy.

You enjoy posting throughout the action so that it is near impossible to find a page without one of your comments.

We all have our posting habits.

It's not that this loss is bad. It's really not awful. Just a ****** game. But so many factors come into play.

-In typical Ranger fashion, Tokarski is the next Dryden.

-Rangers still can't ****ing win on home ice.

-Montreal gets all the momentum from a game they were absolute garbage in. Speaking of, **** they're a lucky team. Like, REALLY lucky.

-If Montreal wins game 4, this series is over, in my opinion.

BS. This team was facing elimination against a better Pittsburgh team and won.

Went from a great Ranger moment to a not great moment. The Garden was so pumped tonight!

The Rangers completely outplayed Montreal for the entire game. Just a minor stumbling block on the journey. I'm not concerned.

Now if game four is a loss....well that's a different story.

Exactly. Too much superstition around here. Hotly played well against us in the past and we took him out.

This team will regroup.

I'm glad I didn't blow 500$ to see the rangers make dustin ****ing tokarski look like patrick roy in his prime.

Can we ever give an opposing goalie credit? Tokarski played the best game of his life tonight. He robbed MSL TWICE from point blank off one timers. Not only that but he was solid technically when the Rangers consistently tried to jam pucks in from in tight.

It's also not a surprise though; this is a team that lacks finishers and is loaded with playmakers. I think we take game 4 easily. We dominated them tonight. They won't get this lucky twice in a row

Once again fellas. We are up 2-1 with a home game Sunday. What's the problem here? I still haven't heard all to many responses to my my question I raised which was: How many of you BEFORE series, if I would have told you it was a guarantee we would be up 2-1 heading into Game 4 at MSG would have taken that gladly and would be estatic being in that position? How many of you? I'd venture a guess and say 95% of y'all would. If anyone of you said we were going to be up 3-0 and on our way to a sweep I'd have called you a liar...no *** way.

Let's not get greedy here boys. Yeah we got some fluky BS goals scored against us. Yeah the reffing was piss poor. And yeah we had some bad puck luck. **** happens. We are up 2-1 and there is no reason at all we can't and don't win Sunday....none. We are the better team and this team is resilient.

Chill fellas especially to the Negative Nancy's in the crowd. All is good here in Ranger Nation....very good!

Not sure who robbed us more the Refs or the kid goalie.

Refs were horrible

Kid was great...

Rangers win in 6

Not Hanks fault though I know he wishes he got that 1st goal back. Team played well. Refs were fine. Tough loss.
