It's just bizarre the same GM that has acquired a massive uptick in pitching talent/depth through the draft, has also overseen 5 years of not developing in house hitters.

If Kumar Rocker's arm holds up, he's going to be a front line guy for a while.

Wyatt Langford seemingly lost every ounce of pop he had at Florida. Hype fell flat this year.

Seems like Williams is on his way to Pittsburgh which hopefully means something precautionary for Cruz. You would think that if Cruz has to go on the IL, then IKF becomes the everyday SS and we could try out Yorke or Cook, even if we'd need to DFA Williams or someone else.

Not sure it really matters anyways. The win was nice but for there to be much intrigue beyond individual performances, we're going to have to run the table for a while, and then basically do it again. We literally need like a 15 game winning streak or something along those lines, so it's not worth getting too worked up.
