its like watching art on ice. He dazzles with his skating and agility but what makes him Elite is he has off-the charts ICE-Q.

I also think he has a little bit of that " I Took that personally" mentality about him ala Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant. He litterally pays attention to all the negative feedbacks about his game and then he turns it into his strength.

Minus player, cant defend......... I took that personally.

Muffin of a shot, cant score goals..... I took that personally.

His off-season work ethic is phenomenal.

Keep in mind as well, he is 1-2 years younger than Makar and Fox.

He isnt even in his Prime yet.

Is it really bait? I'm gonna guess he doesn't PK but I actually don't know for sure myself.

I'm not really sure it means anything though - i.e. Vancouver likely already has the requisite number of competent defenders to PK without needing to use him there

Makar is right behind with 21 pts in 2 less games but tbf who cares about Makar, he'll probably be injured again and play 60 games since he's made of glass
