Seriously. It's the preseason, and the team is pretty much missing a second line of Hag - Step - Callahan from the pool of available players. It's going to be rough going for a little bit.

A greasy preseason period after a week off against a team we almost never see. It'll be ok...
 
I know it's only the pre-season, and we have a new coach, but it'd be nice to see somebody score a ****ing goal
 
Well that period was terrible even for last years standards.

I think they'll pick it up though. As usual they don't have a normal schedule and they're not used to game speed like Calgary, who is playing their 6th game.
 
Staal, untuck your jersey! and Stralman. Gotta cut these guys trying to sabotage the team.
 
People need to calm down. The Rangers havent played in like a week and we have a lot of guys that are goonna be cut anyway because of the injuries/holdout
 
Well, let's take a look.

This lineup is really bad. Fasth, Kristo, Asham, Staal, Lundqvist have been the best.

He better be especially if he plays with DZ who looks lost out there on the right side.

Not to mention, two seasons ago the Rangers lost to a minor league Norwegian hockey team in the preseason. The same season the Rangers would go to the conference finals.
 
I'm sort of okay with this uselessness IF AV has the sense to break up the Richards line. You have two guys that do well with time and space in Nash and Kreider. Push them with Brassard or Stepan who can give them that time and space, they'll do well. Richards isn't that guy on that line. AV is trying so hard to salvage Richards and there's pressure on him to do that but I hope he doesn't stick with that stubbornly because it's not working.
