The Oilers better right this ship quickly, they've played probably 1 good game in the last 8 and that was the loss against Toronto in which they only played well in the 2nd and 3rd period. The positive of this shit stretch is that I'd assume it opens up Bowman's eyes to not just largely stand pat at the deadline.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. Kings have finished their eastern road trips for the year and have a stupid amount of home games left, where they hardly ever lose. With Doughty back, they are in the conversation to win the division.

Listening to Got Yet Back now as I do my chores and I'm floored at barely a mention of Skinner, just a passing comment blaming the turnovers more than him, yet a 10 minute or so segment that I just started posting in the middle of (still more to go when I play it again) absolutely lambasting Bouchard.

Bouchard deserves it but the fact that there's so much talk about him being a big liability and nothing on Skinner is just lunacy and it's been happening all season.
There's also the fact that Bouchard is a much much better player than Skinner when he's right so there should be a little more role with him. It's wild this constant defense of Skinner by the media and I say this as one of his few backers generally. Ok, that's my rant

This screams to me that we need a third line centre in the worst way and that Luke Philp wasn’t the answer at 4C, this year at least.
