we look really bad. i cant tell if moore is playing like crap or if its really ****** ice. he keeps missing the puck

They'll have to get used to it considering they have to play at least 41 games at MSG. Is the MSG ice ever anything but terrible?

These ****ing outlet passes are ****ing useless. Everyone is trying to do amazing outlet passes. 5 so far, none have gone through the neutral zone.

Hope you don't mind a Canucks fan chiming in.

This sounds very familiar, as it was AV's system in Vancouver. He stressed the breakout pass as one of the primary means of creating scoring chances. The Canucks have a good group of defensemen who can make the outlet passes so it wasn't really a problem but even with them you could tell it was forced sometimes. It might not be as effective a system for the Rangers though.

Christ, you would think the Rangers are playing in game 7 of the Stanley Cup final with some of these comments.

I'm just observing the tactical changes to the system in this game. These dudes are probably going to look terrible this early....

Richards line is history. They need someone who can skate with the puck. Kristo has skated in twice, Asham has twice as well. Richards can't skate well enough and doesn't have the size or the moves to get through the neutral zone and get his line time and space. They're making stupid in tight passes that accomplish nothing in terms of progressing the puck.

They're making fancy passes for the sake of making them and eluding the opposition--- in the neutral zone?
Richards looks done

Somewhere and HF poster is starting the thread "Homer Joe compares Lundqvist to Hasek" and an army of Kings fans are ready to argue to the death that Quick is the best goalie in the NHL

It will be better this year due the brand new coolant piping installed in phase 3. Probably still not great but better than the days when there were nails sticking out of the ice.

cant the Rangers move Bickel to RW and have him play that position on a full time basis. it would make the most sense.
