I think RIchards is being given "a chance" but it's not where he needs to be. Hopefully AV is doing this politically and will know when the gig is up for Richards on the top line. I mean, without Step and with Brass playing on the other squad, there's not much anyone can do aside from magically turning Boyle into a 1st liner.

I expect the game against Vancouver to be a game where garbage players will be gone and the game will be played to be about the team as opposed to assessing individuals.

their defense really let them down. They turned the puck over pretty much every shift, also dz left teh guy wide open for the goal

DZ playing RD contributed to that goal. The angle and where his stick was a result of a bad angle he took trying to break up the play in the center of the ice (he took the angle of his strong hand, LD approach).
