I’ll add a different view. Stutzle was my favorite player in that draft, really like him and think he’ll develop into a great player. Giroux is still a great player, didn’t do as well as I’d hope he would here but was still very solid. Debrincat has produced at every level and continues to do so, huge pick up for the sens. Batherson looks like a really solid young player. Brady is a player you love to have and hate to play against. Josh Norris, if he can build off this past season they’ll be sitting pretty longterm.

I’d rather have Barkov and Matt tkachuk over any one of those top-6. However, that top-6 as a whole could very well end up being better than our top-6. Despite that, I think we have a better bottom-6, goaltending duo, and D unit as well, even with the loss of Weegar (chabot is fantastic and zub looks like a great player too, I’d definitely like to have him).

I think we’ll be a better team overall, pending injuries. No need with this whole dick measuring contest with the top-6 F or top-2 D. Ottawa made big gains and look to be tracking very very well longterm with their young players. And for the first time we’re looking like a consistent playoff team also with exciting young players. We’re always used to be one of the laughing stocks of the league for pretty much our entire existence, jokes of attendance and fan loyalty and relocation gets really really exhausting, now that we have some real success for once people are coming after them more and more and doubting them at every turn from sustaining the success they’ve had the past two seasons, so I get being defensive but it’s not necessary, we’ll see how the season plays out.

That’s if you want to try and argue the sens top 9 is better than the panthers as well. Feel free to rank 1-12
lol , you must agree with the top 6 ranking like I said, cause all you keep coming back with is ya but top 9/12/18.

So to stop the never ending requests, and October lineups I assume, no Duclair as he out until all star game at least. To start season, probably be a different order as season unwinds, but going in:

1. Tkachuk
2. Batherson
3. Stützle
4. DeBrincat
5. Norris
6. Giroux
7. Pinto
8. Joseph
9. Formenton
10. Dylan Gambrell
11. Ridley Greig
12. Auston Watson
13. Parker Kelly

Now you can show your list, for your forwards.

Usually people bring more to the discussion than player X on my team is better than player Y on yours because I said so and if you don't agree it's because you don't watch the games.
You'll hopefully have to admit that the post he quoted wasn't worth much more than a "Yikes" answer...

I mean this thread also contains some bold statements like Ottawa's top 6 and top 9>FLA

and Ottawa's D>FLA

so...
And what has that to do with the point that @The90 and me were making?

Well it is
How so?

And now that OTT defense, lay it on us.
5-10 pts short of a playoff spot is what I smell.

Waiting for yours, all you guys seem to be able to do is demand demand. It’s becoming pitiful. Show us the money.

You claimed Ottawa had a better top 6. I said rank both teams top 6 in a combined 1-12 ranking to show your work. Instead you ranked Ottawa’s forwards.

The cat (intended pun) is out of the bag.

I’m not ranking yours lol, to then hear he’s not 6th he’s 4th.
Rank yours then compare, I’m tired of your stupid games.
I no longer give a crap if you post ‘‘em or not.

You have to be doing this intentionally at this point. I’m asking you to directly compare both teams. Put the top 6 for each team into the same pool and rank them 1-12.

I’ll start you off with one that “should” be a no brainer.

In the eyes of a wildly biased Panthers fan sure. Stutzle is a much better player than Lundell. As are Formenton over Hornqvist and the laughable comparison as a waiver wire player softy like Balcers over Joseph. Congrats on Lomberg over Gambrell.

That's where the no Brainer portion of the conversation ends. But since you can't do it after that because you know you can't be objective id expect nothing less than silence. Looking forward to the Cats Sens games this year. Going to be entertaining. Two Tkachuks two great forward groups two top heavy bad d cores.

Lundell has more EVG, EVP, more takeaways, plays PK, takes less penalties, better on faceoffs, better 2 way play, better pts/60, better corsi and Fenwick, all while playing 2.5 mins less of ES TOI.

But ya Stutzle better because he was drafted higher right?
Lundell would have more points without injury and some PP time.

Stutzle scored way more actual points and doesn't get to play with all stars. You can think Lundell is better all you want, keep the charts coming. When stutzle outscores him by 20 points this year we can check back to this thread. He is much more dominant by the eye test as well. His level of skill and creativity is in the upper echelon of the league. I am a big lundell fan I watched 40 + Panthers games they aren't the same level of player.

You don’t have to pretend to watch Panthers games. We know you sit at a grand total of 0 the last 3 years.
