So nashville has a 7th round pick better than laf?
Rough game
PP and top 6 were terrible
4th line getting way too many mins in the 3rd period
Kid line scores but even they couldn't get their possession game going consistently and i blame ice time for that
Chytil was by far the best player and didnt sniff a second in the final mins
GG really does suck
He's too in love with the vets

This team is just leaving too many points on the table against mediocre to bad teams. I don't give a shit if they outshoot the other team 2 to 1 if they don't win and it's happened way too many times this year. Other teams are winning those games and getting those points. There is something seriously wrong here. 20% of the season in the books already.

We're in a playoff spot. People are talking about it like we're 4-12 and in a massive hole.

Kid line was shooting more. I thought it was deliberate to get more shots and cycle less. Even so they were again the only line that looks like a line.

GG is never going to change. Goody and Vesey out late was comical.

What annoys me about Gallant is that he either sticks with the same old lines regardless of context or he gets into that manic mode where there's a different combination every shift.

There's never a middle ground.

I kind of want to believe this. The bad bounces are at ludicrous levels right now.
The risk is the team gets all the puck luck bounces in one or two games, like the Red Wings, and then it's back to hitting posts and making opposing goalies look great because our offense is predictable as hell.

Bottom line is that this team needs to find a way to consistently finish their chances. Simple as that. Idk how but they need to figure it out. If they don’t figure it out they’re going to be a bubble team at best.

Generating as many chances as they are they should be scoring more goals. They need to figure out how to consistently convert more of their chances. It’s not just bad luck anymore really, at least not on its own. The sample size is too big now. Too many chances and not enough goals.

That's not really how correction works.

We’re not in a playoff spot and there are two teams with better win % ahead of us outside of a playoff spot. We are not in a good spot at all right now. Don’t think we lost 3 straight all year last year. We’ve already got a couple of those streaks and 1 win in our last 5.

I know the metrics look good but shooting % and sav % are the two big ones and we Are drowning in both columns. Too many good teams in the East aren’t going to let you take it from them

The margin of error is a tightrope. Every mistake seemingly goes in the back of the net.

It is very predictable.

A 16-game sample is absolutely nothing. A 16-month sample is nothing.

This team is playing real hockey now (which we need to) and needs to figure out how to score real goals that aren't off the rush.

They will.

It might not even be this year. The world won't end if it isn't. They have to learn how to be a better 5v5 team. Learning comes with a learning curve.

Barely and part of that is because we have played more games than most teams. We are leaving too many points on the table against lousy teams and not holding on to leads when we do get them. 3 points out of a possible 10 in their last 5 games is not getting it done.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't look at win % in November.

Now that I know we're an entire point out of a playoff spot, I can understand the doom.

We've played one more game than Montreal and Detroit who are the teams "ahead" of us.
