I never said it was amazing... the poster I quoted stated that we would have to add a pick to Diaz to unload him.

He has no trade value, you're living in a dream world if you think him dominating the swiss league during a lockout means jack. He has no size and isn't physical enough to have a career in the nhl, and in 2 years will not be with this team and likely not in the nhl.

Bouillon?

Prust on the first line, leave nhl 2013. Are you Marie-Pier Morin?

Chaput? Hope your joking.

Considering Price is his back-up...

I just realized how many players on this team are ones I despise. Going to be hard to root for team success while hating the guts of Therrien, Gomez, Armstrong, Prust, Kaberle and Bouillon.

I think we should sign Dagenais for shootout and to replace Bourque after we buy him out.

Edit: We should also sign Dandenault back to complete the awesome Dandouillon pairing that was ( and to force WTK to dust up his old avatar).

My guess:

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Prust - Eller - Armstrong
Moen - Dumont - White
Pressbox/AHL/Europe: Gomez
Supposedly injured: Nokelainen

Gorges - Subban
Markov - Emelin
Kaberle - Bouillon
Pressbox: Weber and Diaz

No use rushing anyone and waste their year on a team which is questionable. Let's do our best with the guys that are ready. If it doesn't work, we'll just get a better pick.

I think the players held their position relatively well and I think the new agreement removes some of the insanity that seemed to grip a few of the GMs around the league. I like the length of the agreement, I like the term limits on the player contracts and I think the year to year variance on contracts is reasonable... certainly more reasonable than the 5% the owners first proposed.

These are subtle restraints on those GMs who constantly tried to find ways to circumvent the intent of the old CBA rules. It could have just enough impact to make this a win-win for both sides.

I pretty much agree wit this line up defence pairing could be interchange. Not that I would really like to see it happening but I think Gomez will have his chance on the third line and Eller would center the fourth line Dumont would then go in the AHL.

And Seb to dust up his Dandouillon #55 jersey.

I hope Diaz won't be in the press box, he needs to play. If everyone is heathly, Kaberle or Bouillon in the press box,

Yeah, I think Stortini would be a better fit.

Stortini - White - Armstrong

I think I missed when Stortini became part of the Habs organization. I thought the Oilers loaned him to the bulldogs but didn't know he was now Habs property. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

I think the Habs can do better than this in order to tank.

Let's not start with a loser mentality. Although we're not contenders by any means, I don't think we're as bad as our position in last year's standings.

That being said, I still agree about not rushing young players.

If Gally is ready and that is a big if... He should be on the top two lines...

I would change your lineup as the following...

Pacioretty, Desarnais, Cole
Bourque, Plekanek, Gallchenyuk
Prust, Eller, Gionta
Moen, White, Armstrong

Emelin, Subban
Markov, Georges
Bouillon, Diaz
Kaberle

Gomez will be the 4th C I don't see any other possibility.

Dumont. He'd at least fit on a 4th line. Putting Gomez with Moen and White is going to create a line with no identity.

If this whole ''no excuses/accountability'' stuff that management has preached is truly legit, Gomez should be nowhere near this roster if his camp is lackluster. We're paying him real $ and he's on the cap regardless of where he plays, so that should not be a factor.
