Destiny of what? Getting pounded by Boston?
The more I think about it. If Sens makes it into the playoffs and play Bruins. Bettman might game manage the Sens to have a few wins and make it a long series due to upping Sens values and who knows a few lucky bounces in Game 7 might go the Sens way. Lol

Will this be the year that kills the deadline day show?
Maybe. I hope not. Many years, I prefer having it run in the background as opposed to having to regularly check the internet. This year, I have no pressing work to be done, so I'm more active online.

What would be the cost of the buyout? That would be the only reason I could see them retaining 2.5 for that long. I also think they may be able to stick him with Pettersson and inflate his stats as you mentioned though.

840k the next 2 seasons then 1.9M for 4 years.

i just think that if we dont do anything then that sandin trade was f***ing stupid.

I don't care about how many hits schenn gets, i don't care about a rielly replacement. Sandin in the bottom pair would be more effective than both in the playoffs.

I dont fully agree. If there is nobody worth moving a first for then it would be stupid to move it just so you can claim you went all in. We all know that pick can become several more assets at the draft in Dubas' hands if he still has it.

Apparently a deep draft too .. given they don't have picks in rounds 2-4 I'm happy to have at least one good draft pick. Dubas probably moves down and gets an extra pick or two as well from this.

The Sens have beaten the Bruins twice. Of course, both victories were with Sweyman starting not Ullmark. Ullmark did come in the third in one after Sweyman gave up 6 goals.
