Blake was so stupid to hire him when everyone knew this.
Toffoli's effort was pathetic.

I would love an interview to start with, "What is your major malfunction, numbnuts?"
“All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine. Playing hockey is just a side gig.”"Unless I am traded to Edmonton or Ottawa, then I am outta here."
Toffoli's effort was pathetic.
Someone said WD was Luc's and Beckerman's hire...so not sure if WD was Blake's choice.
What bothered me more, was the last few weeks, when on a line with Kempe and Grundstrom, those 2 were busting azz and working together...and looked like
Tyler was doing his own thing - he was actually doing his best to take any shot and trying to score (which he couldn't) and was not playing as a unit with them.
He was not making plays for them and was not working. I would love to see Kempe and Grundstrom have another winger with speed and skill. They would be the
best line most nights.
Hope TT is traded by draft day.
Ouch
Ouch
The last couple weeks have been real weird, seeing the Dave Taylor era being glorified in a way and it seems like there’s a real push to bring that culture back.
Who is starting the 2020 draft thread?
Lafreniere & Byfield, among others.
Ouch
The season is over for them. What would be a better look? Being on a cross?

Again, the two year price freeze on season tickets was all I needed to see to understand they plan on being bad next year as well.
If the rumor of a five year contract offer to McClellan is true, then they are definitely looking at this as a decent sized rebuild.
Blake is also to blame for not having a off-ice plan/practice that would help transition the team play. At the beginning of the season, nobody knew what they were doing and looked horrible. I hope Blake has a vision of how he wants to the team to play and hires a coach that best fits the mold like Lombardi. Lombardi knew how his team was going to play and brought in the coach that best fit that style
In what way?
what on earth makes him think porky is gonna leave russia now? for a one year elc? at 25?

Spoke briefly with Blake about Prokhorkin, currently in the Gagarin Cup Playoffs. Blake has spoken with him this season, and the team is planning on offering him a one-year ELC when his SKA season ends. 6'2, 201; 26 in Sept. 41 points in 41 GP with SKA. Will have more in a bit.
