He played zero NHL games. He might not have never even if he lived. He was not a Top player. He was a prospect. And one player.

Again, those teams didn’t win anything so it’s not like they are something to crow about.

Not sure if there will be elite talent on the d line past pick 10ish. unless you consider smith or wilde having that ceiling?
I really want dobson, bouchard, Hughes or Boqvist.

And the guys you can draft in the top of this draft have played zero NHL games. Holy cow how do you honestly not see how awful your arguments are here?

I think ty smith is underrated, he's close to Dobson and Bouchard imo
Wilde has great upside just a lot of questions about him
 
Did Keith Jones just say if the Rangers finish strong AV will be back?

So then why you trying to use Cherepanov as argument then? Cuts both ways. Except the guy at the top of this draft is Nick Lidstrom.

I really want to see a complete, major-injury free season from Zibanejad. It's a hope.
Vesey I think is fine as a bottom liner. He won't rise but I just don't see him as awful the way many do. He needs to move his feet when the team doesn't have possession, especially in the d-zone.

I'm just pissed off now, this is ridiculous. It's very obvious why I brought him up. I literally laid this out. At this point I have to assume you're just f***ing with me.

I get wanting a top prospect, I get wanting to tank. But your actual argument is full of massive holes and I laid out why.

I know a top pick would help but it is not the end of the world if we don't get that top pick. It is my belief that this thing can be turned around fairly quickly. Gorton did a great job at the deadline getting picks, prospects, and NHL players like Spooner and Namestnikov. All does not hinge on whether we get a top 5 pick.
