That's just it, we know there is urgency to get the deal done, why would they not either meet right away or at least present a proposal to each side, This meeting was planned for a few days why did RSE not have some written plans to begin discussions.
Ya, its bizarre, that no numbers were presented, discussed. Like just a casual meet & greet. A meeting that had originally been scheduled for two weeks ago, Renaissance circling 4-7 months already. It simply doesnt take that long to put together a prospectus with financials, lay it out in front of Glendale: here ya go, this who we are, this is what we plan to do, this is what were looking for, this is what we expect to be able to deliver, study it, meet again tomorrow, Thursday or whenever. Bettman & Daly on hand to at least verbally confirm that these guys have the wherewithal, that price & terms have been met, the Principals easily passing the bar, all thats left is for the COG to work out a lease with them. Time for slow dancings over. Just get to the point. Get to the crux of the matter, namely, that AMF, and how these guys are going to earn it? Why should Glendale pay them $6M & retain the team? If their looking for more than $6M, conversations over, adjourned.
