If I had to venture to guess, the car accident talking was probably dring the game and then he got angry and did some research after on Feliciano. Either way it's not a good look for neither but it Carter had info before the game that's f***ed up.

Not sure I'm understanding? Isn't Feliciano saying that Carter threatened his family 3x during the game, so he shot back w/ the dead teammate thing? What would Carter being researching after the game?

Honestly though, Carter needs to be aware that opposing players are going to bring this up to knock him off his game, and it looks like it worked during the SF/PHI game.

I thought he posted it on social media at some point about his family. I mean researching his family like if he has kids or a spouse or not. Regardless many athletes should just stay off social media. Feliciano blamed being hungover on why he responded to a tweet blaming one of his teammates for why Chris Jones is unblocked.

Yeah I thought he did that after the game, so therefore after their verbal dustup already happened.

Regardless, yes, athletes should just steer clear of SM, but if they're not going to then they just need to post boring-ass shit instead of the type of things that this situation has produced.

From what I understand this is what happened:

Carter gets a flag
Feliciano laughs at Carter
Carter proceeds to say to Feliciano that he won't see his family again three times
Feliciano fires back about the car accident
Carter goes on to post picture on instagram of Feliciano and his kids at some point

Yeah so a case of both players being pretty dumb here.

Carter has to be aware that every opposing player is going to try and get in his head to knock him off his game by using the racing story. It's going to happen whether he's trash talking or not. I was unaware of the extra stuff on IG w/ his kids and whatnot afterward. That's just some weird and not-cool behavior.

Feliciano is just a f***ing moron regardless, it looks like, in the grand scheme of things.

I dunno what the right answer is, but what I do know is that Feliciano is going to lose the PR war here since he recently said something dumb and out of pocket (publicly). So his credibility is bad rn.

I mean maybe i'm just jaded but I don't really see the racing story as something that would be out of pocket on the field for trash talk in any situation and especially if what was allegedly said first happened.

Flat brim pulling a Howie with the bus throwing.

Surprised by this...

LOL, that might be one of the dumbest decisions Shanahan/SF could make in the aftermath of losing the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs sideline being all flabbergasted when the 49ers chose to receive ("they WANT it??") in the new mic'd-up video from the Super Bowl is just the icing on the cake.
I'm sure there are some players on the Niners would have acted like they win the game had they scored a touchdown resulting in a 15 yard penalty 😂.
